Absolutely amazing service and knowledgeable team and specially Tim very knowledgeable and friendly and knows his stuff.

Ordered some merbau timber through austim to replace some rotten pine stair treads. The guy on the phone was very helpful.the timber was straight and had no faults or damage. Sent a message with a picture to say the timber had been delivered. Would definitely order timber from them again

Ron has help me out tremendously with designing and supplying two decks. Everything required to build them including screws Concreate, stirrups and timber. Service is excellent and at competitive prices.

Friendly and helpful staff. If they can’t do what you are looking for, they point you to somewhere else.

I talked about building a deck in the back yard for almost two years with the idea of just getting all the parts from the local hardware store (you know the one) but never having much luck with finding stock or when timber was in stock, it was always twisted and warped. After some googling, I found these guys at Austim and went in my lunch break for a chat. I ended up speaking with Ron and after some advice and ideas, I went home knocked up a rough drawing with my measurements and emailed it off. Less than a day later, had my quote which was my full shopping list to build the whole deck. Less than a week later, everything has been delivered on my driveway. The whole process has been very quick and easy and will happily recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks Ron for the advice and making the process so easy, it has been a positive experience.

These guys are brilliant. Whether you need a single piece of timber or a large order for a job, they have you covered. Even picked up a couple of helpful tips for a DIY project I'm finishing.

Very Disappointed i bought 32sqm of solid timber floorboards 12months ago and due to a family member being really sick, I only just got to the floors this week to find out I was only delivered 28.663m2.
I emailed Austim and was told I only 7 day to rectify their mistake from purchase, to be honest I didn't think I would have to check what i ordered and to not trust them, thought they would have a little empathy.anyway I now have to find a match and pay for an extra 3.5 m2. Future customers please triple check their measurements before you buy or you will be in a mess like me.

Pleasure to deal with - helpful, professional and have competitive prices. I got composite decking and supporting timbers.it turned into a bigger job than expected and they helped me get the additional gear I needed. Would recommend them to anyone!

It was the first time I've had to purchase raw timber and I found it very daunting to be faced with making the right decision for what we wanted. As the timber is in it's natural state on a lot of shelving, you cannot know what it's going to look like when it has been 'dressed', unless there is a 'near enough' example available. As there are so many raw planks to choose from, it's not always possible to have a sample to know what you're getting, BUT I found the assistance I received from the guys on site, very helpful and they were very understanding to my lack of experience with timber and all that goes with it! I described the kind of look I wanted and was very happy with the timber when I got it home and unwrapped the plastic. Thank you Ben for your valuable tips/advice.

Having been a first timer at Austim I couldn't be more happier. Stewart (Stuart) was so helpful and obliging. He treated me if I was his mate which gave me the confidence I had the right product at the right price. Highly recommended.
