Upon joining Atwork Australia in Mt Hawthorn, I was petrified of being controlled, forced into doing things that were too difficult and pushed around (which has happened in the past with other job providers). Instead, I was surprised to find a personable, friendly young guy patiently and carefully listening to my story of crushed hopes and desperate need to dig my way out of this big hole. Lachlan was a lifeline - a calming voice to steady me, and who could have a laugh with you. He willingly took the time to help bring clarity to situations, understanding, and sound options. Most importantly, I felt valued, not invisible, and cared for. Here was someone on my side after such a long time. I recommend Atwork Mt Hawthorn to anyone who is needing a sense of safety, loyalty, and compassion as well as staff who are well-trained in ensuring a supportive and respectful environment for those in difficult situations.

The first appointment with Zac was great! Zac knew what I wanted and needed and we talked about these things together, the appointment and meeting was scheduled around me and for me and this helped me to trust and follow through with what was on hand which was a new job! The next day I had an interview with an employer and now I'm working casually with hours that are good for me and the employer. The employer and job are great! I'm grateful! And yes I got the job as well! And there's still more to com namee!

Meeting Lachlan was not only helpful and professional, but it was also fun and laid back. With him addressing the main focuses of the appointment promptly, it left some time for us to speak casually which was very comforting for the first appointment.

Not only that but on day one, he managed to get me into a course I’ve been looking at doing for months, saving me time and money and being nothing short of a genuine helping hand.

Being in this situation can be.personally challenging.
The job suggestions have been poor matches for me, but he was genuinely trying to help and was patient and understanding.
Also, the beurocratic system is not ideal. But that's not my agent's fault.

They were very helpful and proactive. They were attentive to my needs and provided a personalized service.

I have just started attending appointments with AtWork Mount Hawthorn. Lachlan is my Job Coach. He seems really helpful and caring. His manager is great as well. They have suggested a job that might work for me, so it looks promising.

Having recently asked for a transfer to At Work in Mt Hawthorn, I feel I have made correct decision. I was looking for a job service provider who possesses good listening skills, understanding and would work with me and my specific barriers to work. Lachlan Atkinson has thus far delivered in this aspect. A good listener, understanding, flexible, punctual and on the ball in proactively looking for job opportunities. Zac and Henry are also welcoming and easy to talk to.
