My name is Mal Storey, I’m 58 years old with a back condition that has prevented me from working for a number of years. I recently started using At Work Australia as a work support provider, and was assigned to Liz Malone as my job coach. First at Osbourne Park and then at their Mirrabooka offices.

During my time with Liz at both locations I found her to be a very easy going and likeable person, who also went to great lengths to not only make me feel less depressed about the position I was in, but also provide support in looking for the appropriate job. She was able to provide me with sound advice that not only came from her experience in the industry, but also her own life experience.

I now have full time employment, and I’m starting to really enjoy life again.

I would recommend to anyone with a disability, mild or otherwise to contact At Work for any vocational needs.

Yussuf at the Herdsman office has been excellent. He has been consistent in his hard work to find me employment whilst keeping me motivated. Greatly appreciated

So glad I got placed with atwork, I was placed with a lovely lady named Kath who has so much empathy and clearly loves helping people. She’s easy to talk to, good for a laugh and makes a genuine effort to get to know you).

Warning for employers! Engage with these people carefully! Disgusting conduct. This agency placed an employee with my company. They said we would receive a government sponsored monetary incentive if we trained and employed an appointed candidate for 6 months. In about month 5,1 week short of qualification, behind the scenes, with zero notice, the employee didn't show up for work. Turns out, Atwork placed the employee, who is intellectually disabled, into another position behind our backs, didn't tell us, then they tried to cover it up by instructing the employee and his family to stop communicating with us entirely. The employee tendered no resignation, gave no notice whatsoever, all on the direction of atwork.
