Michelle and the team have helped me with my resume and job applications. Would recommend them to other job hunters.

AtWork Disability have been fantastic. I was out of work after an injury and they helped me with my resume, interview skills and helped me find work again.

The employment provider is focused on getting their data looking good to be able to claim the government funding, and give sum total of zero sheets about the candidate. Arrogant staff who are all engaged in a toxic environment for whoever is unfortunate enough to end up in their orbit

Amanda Lynn has given me the motivation and support to succeed in finding a new career. She is kind, attentive and easy to communicate with. This is by far the most positive experience I've had with a job coach. Highly recommend.

Babita Graak has been fantastic, she is attentive and professional and got me into sustainable employment within a couple of weeks when nobody else could in 3 years.
So grateful thank you

I think Atwork Australia is generally a good place. I find that most people seem kind and gave me some good advice for my resume and preparing me with interview questions. My most recent job coach at the moment, Amanda, is lovely and helpful and I have been in touch with her for more than 3 months. My previous coach, Christopher Moore (who is now no longer working at AtWork) was also very kind to me and felt a little sad he told me he was going to leave. It was nice that Amanda could provide me with some work clothes for interviews and handouts for preparing for job interviews, and for that I say 'thank you. ' However, in terms of what didn't work, attending appointments would sometimes be very messy and I had to change coaches several times - it was as if I got a new job coach every 2 months - especially in the first few months. Sometimes, I would plan an appointment and there would be a mix-up over the location or time; there were times where I would schedule appointments, go to the office, and then on arrival be sent home because the appointment was suddenly rescheduled without my knowledge or would take place at a different centre. It did take a long time for me to actually find work because I changed coaches so many times. A majority of job interviews I had received later were for jobs I had found myself via websites like Seek. Some work suggestions I received via AtWork from one of my previous coaches were unsuitable given my abilities, such as being suggested to do strawberry picking for $25 per hour 5 days a week, with shifts starting at 6am. This opportunity to me came off as suspicious, but at the time I had to accept it due to the agreement I had to accept what Atwork gave me - luckily, I was rejected by the company. In order to improve, I believe AtWork can do more to give clients more education. Some of these pointers could be:

1. Talking to clients about the importance of researching specific companies (rather than sending out too many resumes via websites, then waiting for a long time with no feedback)
2. Job hunting mistakes (bad workplace practices to look out for, what not to do in interviews, how much information to give out and when)
3. How to spot employment scams and how to avoid them
4. Workplace behaviour/etiquette (e.g. How to deal with rude co-workers or people at work)
5. Going through examples of common workplace policies for certain professions
6. Talk about what is commonly included in contracts once offered a job and how to read the fine print.

I believe these pointers are important for clients so they can become more aware of what things can be expected in a workplace environment. I think it is also imperative for both the client and the coach when searching for work they should understand where their information is going, who is using it and what will happen to it so when they do go job searching, they can get the job they want at the company they want and thus avoid accepting jobs that may be unsuitable. Even if AtWork's purpose is to help people find work, there should be no obligation for a client to accept a job that doesn't 'work' for them (pun intended). With these improvements aside, I believe the services offered by the company itself is generally decent. Now that I have found employment, thankyou very much AtWork for assisting me with my job hunting. I have definitely learned a lot.

Great experience with Beau and Tracey. Very kind, helpful and supportive people. I also got to learn a lot from the JobsNow program.

I saw Beau Potter. He is a friendly guy, was very efficient and made me feel comfortable. He offered viable suggestions for employment. Good service.

Had only awful experiences with atwork. Some staff are downright rude, incompetent, untruthful deceitful and lazy. I organised meeting with "job coach", to improve/redo resume. Work was never done, I enquired and was pushed away. Spent allot of time getting it eventually done through other means. They are defrauding the govt and treating their clients with disdain and abuse. Do yourself a favour and transfer to another job agency

Worst people. I'm a single parent with a 6 week old baby, post caesarean and have been made to jobseek and attend weekly appointments with my newborn. They believe I should be working and hiring a nanny.
Not happy

I had to show the Atwork Victoria Park office what the Mutual Obligations are for over 55s who have been on benefit for over 12 months. I told them 3 times and still they argued and wasted my time. In the end I had to go to Centrelink and get a copy of the new regulations and show them. Only then did Hanna (who had told me 3 or 4 times she knew her job) actually agreed. No apologies for wasting my time. No job interviews or help. No she become obsessed in wasting my time.

I am an employer who has dealt with AtWork Australia and would highly recommend them as a provider. Excellent communication skills and willingness to assist people with disabilities.

Warning for employers! Engage with these people carefully! Disgusting conduct. This branch stopped dealing with us because we informed the Minister of employment about their conduct.
This agency placed an employee with my company. They said we would receive a government sponsored monetary incentive if we trained and employed an appointed candidate for 6 months. In about month 5,1 week short of qualification, behind the scenes, with zero notice, the employee didn't show up for work. Turns out, Atwork placed the employee, who is intellectually disabled, into another position behind our backs, didn't tell us, then they tried to cover it up by instructing the employee and his family to stop communicating with us entirely. The employee tendered no resignation, gave no notice whatsoever, all on the direction of atwork.

Even though they couldn't help to find a job for me because I am not in centre link payment but they told that I can come their office anytime and apply posted jobs and I really appreciated for that.
