Atwell Fresh IGA

No staff. Old lady says she loved her Job but it sure doesn't show. If you loved your job and work the checkout one would think interaction with people of all kinds would have to be something you not only don't mind but quiet like. I leave this IGA nearly always feeling like I'm a burden to them. Other staff here have been helpful on other occasions especially the staff that may be from Mumbai India. Actually as I write this it's on 2 stars. For the fact the other staff actually have helped me I'll give it 1 extra star. So 3 stars

This has got to be one of the best IGAs I have ever been to, everything is so stocked & tidy. Reasonably priced too. The staff are very friendly

Very well stocked up, the employee Logan Harvey has great customer service.give this man a pay rise and a high five for his excellent customer service skills. Would recommended.

The items are fresh the staff are nice.
My only issue is that in the past three months. I have pulled them up four times on their prices, charging up to three dollars more in one instances at the checkout. I only do small shops here, when I forget lunch hence me picking up their mistakes.

Fabulous, and what a happy, cheerfull lady liz is. There should be more of her in customer service. Look after her she is worth keeping.

Usually have no issues with Atwell IGA, I come in quite often and it’s super convenient, but on 2 occasions, about a month ago and today I’ve left feeling furious. The young school aged girl working the checkout with brown hair and sour face did not say a word to the 2 customers in front of me and not a word to me when I come up to the checkout. No smile, no “hello”, no “that will be $12.50” or “thanks, have a good day”, just a frowning face. The first time I thought maybe she was just having a bad day but now twice, it’s clear that she doesn’t wanna be there. Why work in a customer service role if you don’t even want to be mildly pleasant to the customers. Made me so annoyed, dont wanna be served by her again.

The fresh food, meat and diary section is my go to for this IGA. Sometimes you'll find a bargain but it seems to be normally priced for an IGA. Need to update the store a bit as it feels like it's still in the age of Dewsons.

Store is clean and tidy and they tend to have a quality meat with a good selection. However their baked good are the biggest let down of the store as they are often old and stale and seem to be only replaces every week or so. If their bake goods we fresher i would buy more of them but currently more often then not they are stale or getting close to it.

Great place to shop, staff are very helpful and friendly considering they have to deal with a lot of different customers who can sometimes be very rude to them and then expect the staff to remain their friendly happy selves. Remember customers, the staff are only human so be nice and occasionally thank them.

Great customer service and excellent choice. Their vegetables, salad and fruit selections are awesome

Overcharged for an item by staff (no self serve) I rang immediately on getting home to request a refund and was told I have to go in. I am not going in as I have 3 small children including a disabled child, I requested a refund over the phone onto the card it wa charged on and the manager kurush was so rude residing to refund telling me he didn’t care he rippped me off not his problem. So I am out of pocket because I am unable to unload my 3 children from the car with a wrist injury and have to talk to this absolutely rude worker! Never shop here unless you want money stolen from you!
Head office feel free to call as I absolutely furious.

Very costly IGA they Produce is Fresh however Price of things they need to be a bit more reasonable.

A great IGA, the staff have always been lovely, I would rather go to this IGA over going up to the bigger shops.

Once again this supermarket has gone back to refusing to pack my groceries using my own bags despite across the board price gouging so I'm paying more for the simple privilege of eating. Reason given Covid-19.
Yet they are happy to handle my groceries through the checkout putting ME at risk from THEM and watch me pack my groceries. Oh of course if I buy more bags from them that's OK, they will pack for me.

Disgusting service. Was hung up on. Will never shop here again! IGA ATWELL.poor poor poor customer service.

It is most appropriate to leave customers alone while they are deciding on their purchase. Today I found a staff member hanging around in the isle keeping an eye on me. Terrible place. I have been here many times in the past with no incident. It would be very good if you can train your staff in appropriate behaviour after all it's a grocery store not a place for policing people around. Manger please try to incorporate these in your staff training. Won't be shopping here hence forth.

Great store for meat and small goods, go there for all my Lamb, beef and chicken. Best meat of any stores locally. Love all sweet treats, speciality lines?

A group of neighbours and I are increasingly disappointed with the lack of responsibility taken for trolleys being dumped in our suburb. Every week there are at least two trolleys, usually from IGA, but sometimes from a competitor, dumped in the North end of Atwell, along paths, in parks, and even in the nature strips and ponds. Sometimes the trolleys are filled with junk. IGA: Take responsibility, fingerprint the trolleys and the discarded items and get to the bottom of this. It is NOT just school children, these are adults engaging in lazy and antisocial behaviour.
