Asha's Kitchen reviews
21Unique kerala style. Best kerala thali in Australia. I have not seen a place like it in Australia. Food was very tssty like a home cooked food. Only problem is limited opening hours. Very reasonably priced. Kudos to the team. Extend operating hours if you can
We had a takeaway for 5 Dum biriyani’s yesterday it had a great taste and good quantity, Thank you very much Asha’s Kitchen Definitely recommend
Asha’s kitchen has got my heart because ever-time I miss home made food I run to have a meal there. The quality and quantity of food is amazing, the vibe- a typical Kerala mess.
A must go, at least once a week!
I had the most incredible experience with the Kerala meals I recently enjoyed. It was truly the best Kerala meal I have ever had.
Loved the feast I had here recently. I like my biriyani mild in taste with additional side dishes to bring it all together and that's exactly how they served it here. Wished there were more options for kids though. Would definitely visit again!
I paid $18 and received a spoonful of fish and a teaspoon of chicken; it was delicious but astonishingly little. Tom Cevica's earlier review was spot-on when he said "the serving was miserly in the extreme". And the use of repeated phrases in some positive reviews now make me doubt their authenticity
Horrible, not clean, untidy atmosphere. Food served very cold. It seems that they cook in bulk and serve the food from the fridge. Highly priced for the kind of service. Don't waste your time and money at Asha's kitchen
So, food is great but need to wait 45 mins to 1 hour which happened to me, unfortunately they dont have a facility to serve all, would be great if they have a bigger space. I came driving 30 minutes just for this place and needed to wait 1 hour to get food which is bit upsetting with a 2 years old baby with me so will not be recommending highly in terms of service and other
I tried the Chicken Biryani. It was nicely prepared home style and so tasty and fluffy It was served with coconut chutney, beetroot pickle and yoghurt which was a perfect combination of flavours. I also sampled Fish Curry, Dahl and Chicken Curry. Every dish had its own unique flavour. All in all I had a awesome experience. Very affordable and the atmosphere was peaceful and friendly.
Thank You.
Come here for homely and hearty meal. They do an elaborate sadya on weekends which will transport you back home. A perfect spot to have a wholesome vegetarian meal.
Truly a hidden gem in Perth! There’s hardly any South Indian restaurants in perth & this place brings the authentic taste of Kerala.
Loved the food, especially the dum biryani was one of the best I had.
Two small cubes of Chicken and one tiny tiny piece of fish with a teaspoon of nice pickle with rice and a tablespoon of veg. It was very tasty but the serving was miserly in the extreme.
Heard about resturant for a while and finally went in today.
It was full houae. The dum briyani and kerala poratta was fantastic. Now the atmosphere was more like back home. All happy smiling customers chatting in Malayalam. Really felt like back in kerala for that 1/2 hour as we enjoes the meal.
Just wished they were open for dinner too.
The best Kerala food in Perth. Their idiyappams, beef roast, Kappa fish curry, Fish curry Thali are yum! Dosa sambar chutney is simple and homely.
If you would like to taste the authentic malabar food, this is the best in Perth. Try their biryani and you will be amazed. Just awesome
I had a vegetarian thali and I felt the taste was just like back home. I'm glad I had food here so that I can keep on coming whenever I miss home food!
This place is great, lovely staff and the food was delicious. I had Chicken Biryani and Masala Dosa and they were beautiful, very tasty indeed! Thanks team, I'll be back with more guests.

Some more info:
This is not a tradition business who thought of making money through cooking. It’s someone who is just phenomenal in her cooking, and in course started a restaurant:)
Homely meals available in Perth WA. If you want to have a homely meal lunch experience I recommend Asha’s Kitchen in willetton 4/48 Rostrata Ave, Willetton WA 6155, Landmark near willetton Domino’s & IGA Express shopping Center. As much as u can eat with $14 and $15 veg and Non veg option, lunch included both Kerala rice and Basmati Rice with, I took the non veg option with beef curry and coconut Mango fish curry (Mangaa itta meen curry) with 2 veg options and had a surprise element since chef Asha was experimenting chicken fry may be this will be in the menu for next time. Reminded me of the homely food and meals u get in kochi Ernakulam. Never thought I will come across a homely meal experience in Perth. They have lots of Briyani options too. When ever you have time please go with your family and friends to enjoy chef Asha Chechi’s food.
