Aroy Thai

Best Thai in Freo! We order the green curry and red curry all the time. It’s always fresh, hot and full of flavour.

We ordered over Uber Eats and got the pad thai and the cashew nut tofu stir fry. Unfortunately the pad thai was flavorless, had barely any vegetables on it and no tofu at all. Overall very disappointing especially because the other meal was so much better and my partner and I had to share my meal because the pad thai was basically just some plain noodles.

Terrible! Placed a phone order, was told will be ready in 30 minutes. When I arrived I was informed the chef hasn't come in yet and to come back in 20 minutes without even an apology. When I did finally receive the food it was extremely bland tasting with hardly any meat in the dishes and the prawn crackers were so stale they tasted like they had been sitting on the counter for 1 week. Avoid this place, overpriced for what you get. Plenty of other quality Thai restaurants to choose from.

Unfortunately cannot rate the food because the service was worse than Fawlty Towers.
After ordering we waited for more than 30 minutes without receiving our drinks or food. We had to borrow water from people on the next table.
When our food came it was given to people at another table who ate it thinking it was theirs.

Delicious Meal. We're locals, so walked in on a Friday night. Lovely young staff. We had Stir Fry prawn with basil and beef salad. Generous serves and very reasonable prices.

First time going to Aroy Thai with a friend, Staff were amazing and the food was brilliant, do reccomend and will be going again.:)

Really disappointed with the service we had. First we had to wait 35mins. The lady got our order wrong, when I called to let them know, I was told it was not there fault and I cld come down and they will put chuck some chicken in our meal that was already made. We should of had a freshly made chicken green curry. The chicken salad we have not being able to eat as it taste of fish sauce. By far the worse Thai I have ever had.

Food was awful and price is unbelievable for what u get, what a ripoff place, also waiting for main dish was like more than an hour. Never ever come here again for sure. Not recommend at all

We are Fremantle locals, and Aroy Thai is our go to place for yummy Thai food. Great portions, prices and flavours. Probably dined in and ordered takeaway 50 times from Aroy Thai, and have never been disappointed

Wow! Best thai i have had in a long time. The vegie meals were chock full of chunks of broccoli. Fish servings were generous. Flavors were rich and plentiful. Best of all the vegies in every fish were crunchy, fresh and not overcooked. Cannot recommend enough. Staff were also really great, kind and patient with out little boy who decided he would like to pay while we waited at the door. Our new fav place.

Firstly excellent food.

I would really like to point out to the masses.
That people who have friends, family and so on who have the same as mentioned already at other restaurants thai or not get on here to put down competition.
I go to Aroy thai alot.
And anyone who writes a bad word about them I will not believe it.
As I have worked in the food industry before and am disappointed/ disgusted with what some people will do for a discount or free food and to put down competition.
I would eat there everyday if I could.

We go here all the time and love the Basil Tofu and the Pad Thai.

So shocked with the reviews of this place. This is the best takeaway I have ever had. The tofu cashew nut stir fry was tasty as I can’t stop thinking about it, the roti perfectly cooked and the satay sauce not to thick and or to sweet! & they were so accommodating and called to check the Oder for dietary requirements. We will 100% be back. Thankyou Thankyou!

We Ordered 3 mains for takeaway. 2 were actually very tasty. We had all 3 no egg and vegetarian. The pineapple fried rice came with egg all through it even though our receipt stated no egg. When we called to let them know we couldn't eat it, they basically accused us of lying and denied that there was any egg. A good restaurant would of offered to replace the meal or something. But instead we just wasted $15. And won't go back now as there is plenty other nice Thai in Fremantle and surroundings to choose from.

Fresh and Tasty. It's new year's eve and only a few couples. Though the takeaway is just pouring out the door.
The staff were super busy, though continued to serve with huge smile and kind words.
Did I mention fresh and tasty.
Serves are more than adequate, had to have sweets take away. Much to my surprise there was again a hint of the beautiful hospitality.

Great to have vegan options, and food was delicious. However was pretty concerned that wait staff were using the til, handing out takeaways, touching things around the restaurant and then going back to chopping vegetables on the counter without cleaning their hands or using any type of sanitiser.

Food was delicious and speedy. However, service was a bit slapdash. Several times our waitress slapped down our plates and turned away without a pause to talk to her friends at the next table.

Such a shame. There must be new management or a new chef in the last year. Food is so chilli-hot that it's inedible. We've asked several times for them to tone it down. Tonight, again, they made it inedible (for us, at any rate). I rang and asked if they could redo one dish as we couldn't eat it but they refused. That's their call, but it's also ours to say we give up ordering from these people.

They have a nice range of tasty vegan options! The portion sizes are generous and I highly recommend the Thai Green Curry.

My only issue was with the Massaman, it wasn't that tasty and the potato, carrot, and tofu sizes were huge! Other than that, excellent service and food.
