Armadale Reptile Park reviews
60We had an amazing experience visiting the reptile park today. I was surprised how much there is to see. Lovely place with friendly stuff who really care about the creatures who live there. Must visit
Really great fun. The birds are so interesting and tame (well some of them) the staff are friendly and knowledgeable:) thank you
Highly recommend. Our family and friends enjoyed it so much we went twice in 1 week. The staff are lovely and animals are well cared for.
Great value and a really enjoyable time for my 4 year old who got to hold some lizards and a snake. The staff that work there were super friendly. Thank you!
Wonderful place to visit with a family friendly theme, have been before and will visit again. Great place and great staff. Not sure how a previous review was worried about the branches/perches as parrots chew everything, cockies do it a lot.
$20 for an adult, $40 entry fee for both parents is a bit too pricey. Only got to spent an hour in there as there were not much to see.
Very nice facility and with the staff to match a massive amount of animals to see not just reptiles birds and mammals aswell. Would highly recommend a visit for anyone who likes animals.
Tickets are expensive than the nearby Cohunu Koala park which has far more attractions. Bird cages are not maintained properly. The tree branches inside are dead and dry. Looks like they don't get replaced with fresh ones regularly. Very poor maintenance. Not worth a visit for the ticket price.
They advertise themselves as a reptile park! ! It is what it says plus more.the grandkids could see the creatures.including the crocodile.loved it
Fantastic place to visit, I visited today with 15 children for vacation care, the staff were most helpful and informative. Chris one of the staff members kindly guided us through the bird aviary discussing with the children what type of birds live there. The children were ecstatic when they were able to touch and hold a snake, and then have the opportunity to feed the kangaroos. Thank you for a great day out. There are many reptiles, snakes and birds to view at a reasonable entry price.
We visited the Centre as a family and every one of us really enjoyed discovering, observing, and knowing more about Australian animals. All staff and the owners are very passionate about their work, very approachable and very knowledgeable. We would like to especially thank Jin for showing us around, letting us touch some of the friendly animals such as reptiles, kangaroos and poneys/donkeys. We highly recommend this place for people of any age looking to spend some quality time and to get opportunities to relax in a peaceful environment.
Highly recommend this place. It was the first time I have visited and it definetly won't be my last.my girls and I had such a great day and we loved seeing all of the animals and reptiles and in there immaculate enclosures. Everything is set up perfectly.you do a wonderful job!
Would 100% recommend visiting this place! The animals are well kept and quite content, the staff were attentive and even let us feed the donkeys! Great day out for the family
Really enjoyed our day here today. The cages and pens are immaculately clean. The animals are content, happy and well looked after. The staff are super passionate about their job and friendly. We'll definitely be visiting again.
Not worth it. Best go to the zoo.
Plenty of staff working, yet none could take there time to say hello or show a bit of interest and to teach.
Was waiting to pay prior to looking at Park. Yet person on phone for some time, which is totally fine so we had a look around the reception area. We were promtply ushered as soon as person was off phone (in not the best manner) to pay with a lady who's customer service skills weren't up to scratch either.
We were the only ones in the park at the time.
I dont understand how a possible great attraction could be so bad. Maybe this is why we were the only people there? !? Or maybe it's another " off day " according to the business that is open to the public where customer service is needed
Having visited this place as a child I had high hopes.
The facility itself is great with some amazing animals. The staff however, particularly the owner is the rudest person I have ever met. Hostile, bad phone manner and bad customer service in person. Will never be heading back and was a waste of a 45 minute drive.
In the words of another customer who over heard.
"what a miserable git"
Great place to visit. We 'Dutchies' enjoy it.
Nice people and a lot of Australian animals. Also in 2018 we been there. It's better and better. Love it.
Absolutely amazing park! Animals are so well looked after and so friendly! Must check out the walk In bird aviary to make some new friends with the birds that will happily come sit on your arm! Cant wait to come back next time I'm in WA
A very pleasent experience would definitely go again, the staff in my opinion could have been more welcoming but over all the park itself was brilliant. Loved the little ponys, dingos and kangaroos and emus plus heaps more.
A great place to take kids and adults to learn about snakes turtles birds that are unique to Australia and in particular the Perth area. Take a packed lunch and thermos flask and sit down at the tables provided. Reptile centre offers a unique experience to get up close and personal with the reptiles. Much better than the Perth Zoo to appreciate reptiles Well worth a visit
