52 Very bad experience.
They take forever to get the order. We were patient because it was a busy day but then 30 minutes later, they get us the wrong order. We ask a server about the order, he does not come back to us, simply ignores it.
They dont have proper Ventilation so its like a smoke box with constant barbeque smoke inside.
They dont have proper Air Conditioning and hence its hot and humid. And this place is not cheap, its on the expensive side of Korean BBQs.
Overall: no need to visit. There are plenty options which are better in taste and service.
The food was good, the service was okay too. But with the kind of money they are charging the ambience and environment was below average.
The toilets were stinking and unusable. Overall hygiene of the place was very bad.
Food was delicious the serve was generous. Kimchi was given, but not replenished.
Atmosphere was a bit off. Very noisy, quite smokey from BBQ. Christmas music was playing loudly, even though it was early November.
None-experience cooker can make better than these. Even instant noodle soup tastes much better than this.
A great place for having lunch. It was our random choice while being in the city, which we haven't regretted. The food was delicious, the service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly.
This place is so cool and you can dine in and relax and enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy the ambience of food served by the wait staff which they are always friendly
Wow! What a delicious dinner.
Instantly saw on the menu the Premium Set and ordered that, great value for money and a heap of food.
There is nothing like cooking your food on coal whilst having a drink with your partner. This place is a definite must go to and you will not be disappointed.
Just spewing that we were so full I wanted to try the fried ice cream lol
We ordered this food, in menu it says set for 2 person (Bbq) $115 with 2 plain. (ordered addtnl 2 rice) they offered the chef can cook or ourselves (we asked the chef to cooked it for us, as last time we cooked it ourselves) it was perfectly cooked. We are small group of 3 adult and 1 teen, very satisfied with the price and we are very full, didnt finished and had to take home the left over. Good job. Highly recommended. Based on our experienced, may differ if your a big eater.
Food was very good and yummy! The staff were very nice, accomodating and always were happy to listen to my family and I’s requests.
It was a hot night and it the aircons where battling to cool the place down. Apart from this the food was very good.
Pork and beef are marinated in some kind of sweet sauce, and overall things are just too sweet.
Very accommodating to my food intolerances. Delicious and filling. You can cook the meat right in front of you yourself.
Probably one of the worst manager and experience I’ve come across by far in any restaurant. Me and my friend dined in for lunch on the 28th of Dec between 1pm-2.20pm and there was a female manager (seems to be Korean?) who was running the floor alongside other staffs whom if I may add, were so much more cheerful than the manager herself.
Additionally, the beef bulgogi was so inexplicably sweet that I forced myself to finish the plate.
What happened after is when the purpose of this review comes in.
I was drinking my water from the water jug until I heard a “cling” at the bottom of my cup. To my horror and disbelief, it was this shard of glass that was nearly the circumference of the cup itself and according to the manager, something broke (which I assume it broke above the water jugs) but she was in a rush to set a table up that she forgot about the breakage or even considered the possibility that the surrounding food/beverages could be contaminated with potentially dangerous glass shards.
When I asked to speak to the manager, she only sympathised by saying sorry continuously but there wasn’t any apologetic feel to her sorry nor any service recovery proposed. Instead, I originally insisted to have the whole meal comp-ed but she only offered to waive off the beverages we ordered (which is just a Coke Zero for myself).
Chuckling with disbelief, I in no way whatsoever would accept that service recovery because if I were to swallow shard, this situation could have been a lot worse and probably get the resultant sued or closed down. If it didn’t happen to me, it could have been worse for someone else in my place.
After arguing that I don’t want my beverage to be waived off but rather the whole meal to be waived, I’ve suggested to at least give me a 50% discount (which was given in the end) since she can’t waive off the whole meal but even this, she had to check with her bosses for permission (What’s the point of being a manager if you don’t even have the empowerment to give 50% discount on what could have been a very dangerous situation and instead, call your bosses for permission?).
No doubt are the waiters and waitresses there apologetic after hearing of the incident but never would I ever come back to dine here. This is absolutely unacceptable and no excuse could be given to justify today’s experience.
Food for lunch was a hit and a miss. My Chilli Pork was excellent, but friend's Bugolgi was way too sweet! It was so sweet that my friend didn't finish it and left it. Which is very disappointing. Also the restaurant needs to improve on its ventilation. I am aware that it has been around for a long time but when someone does a bbq the bad ventilation basically makes everyone smell like Korean BBQ!
Was served undercooked chicken. After getting them replaced with vegetable dumplings for some reason they took the dumplings off our table shortly after without comment, then returned them. Disappointing service and food
Firstly from the outside it looked quite good. However when we entered it was a disappointment to find out that the table cooktop wasn’t to be used at the time. We then ordered the stew and found the broth to be very thin, the flavour was okay but there was no depth to it compared to authentic Korean stews.overall the experience was okay, id say it was decent but not worth the price. 5.5/10. The place also needs a real good clean up and possibly steam clean as the tables and floors were quite greasy with little food scraps on the table. For a better kbbq experience I would go elsewhere
Very bad takeaway time. I waited half an hour. Could have just dined in but because they said max 15mins wait. I waited.
Pretty good, i feel like there could be better sides? We got the generic set i think, came with average sides, cool idea but not very practical (cooking own meat)
Food was great, had the premium set, more than enough for 2. Service not so good! Friday night but still not too busy.
I can't say the food here isn't good, because this restaurant has quite a lot of visitors, I can only say the food in this restaurant doesn't suit my taste and the price is quite high in my opinion, but maybe it's good enough for people who match the taste of the food in this place.
