I used to buy my fish here as a teenager. This weekend I came back for the first time in a long time, with my own young kids. It was amazing to see the shop cared for as well as when it first opened! The range of fish and equipment is outstanding. Never seen so many beautiful planted tanks in one place. The range of Bettas is outstanding and they are so healthy. Keep up the great work Aquotix - your passion is evident and has got me excited to get back into fish keeping again

Tara was absolutely brilliant in helping me pick out my first ever terrarium! She was so informative and patient with my beginner questions, even relaying her own personal experience with some plants under different conditions and what she thinks would be easiest for a low maintenance beginner such as myself! She was awesome! Highly recommend her and hopefully will be working with her again soon!

Did I die and go to home aquarium heaven when I walked through the door? Yes, yes I did! There is everything you could want and need for aquascaping, terrarium building, freshwater fish, creating a unique environment for aquatic creatures and so, so much more. I did not notice a saltwater section, but in all honesty, wasn't looking for it so there might just be a 4th room we didn't enter. As soon as you walk in it's like a magical place with gorgeous aquascaped sample tanks. Some of which you can buy. There are empty tanks for your imagination to run wild with all the bonsai and accessories available. Moving forward through the corridor are all the bits and bobs like nets, tools, chemicals you could ever need and want. You then enter a room with loads of cold water fish, an amazing range of goldfish. This room also has tanks galore from small to absolutely massive! While there check out the pounds at the back. You'll see a real life dinosaur swimming in one. Moving back to the front of the shop you then swing left past ornaments (hands in your pockets kids! This sectionis fragile) and you enter live stock heaven! African and American cichlids, about every kind of tetra to exist in WA, almost anything you've ever dreamed of if you're a tank lover. It was well worth the 35 minute drive. Need at least 5k fo us to go back and buy all the things we need and don't need what an awesome store! Go check it out.

Expert advice and recommendations. I purchased 3 goldfish for my tank and wanted live plants, was warned the goldfish would eat them and was recommended the fake plants instead. I purchased 3 live plants and they lasted all but half a week, the goldfish pulled them out and ate them like I was warned went back and purchased fake plants and they look great in the tank. Asked what fish I could add to the tank and came home with bristlenose and Silver dollar. Cats are enjoying the tank. Thanks guys

Absolutely huge selection of aquarium life and I just purchased a beautiful huge nepenthes from their range of carnivorous plants. Owner was honest and forthcoming with assisting in every way he could will be a returning customer for sure.

I went to buy aqua plant for my tank today. I brought two small plant. It cost me around $100 plus. I am not sure I was scammed by the staff who lead me there? I won’t ever visit there neither I will recommend my friends to go there. Not happy with the cost. Hopefully this review helps other and not get cheated. Thanks.

These guys are amazing. They are happy to take in fish that outgrow tanks and exchange them for another in store. They have such a beautiful array of better fish. I purchased a betta from another store to add to my comunity tank, there were no issues or bullying with my other fish so i was considering another. After being falsely mislead on the gender (being told it was female) I purchased another female yesterday from Aquotix to keep it company as their females are absolutely gorgeous. The second I introduced her, the flaring and bullying began. The staff at Aquotix were very understanding and said they would happily take the male off my hands and exchange it for another female.

Best range and service of any fish shop in the Perth region. Fish are resonably priced, unlike the chain stores. The peripherals are actual brand names, not just over priced Aqua One junk that you'll find elsewhere. They didn't have what I needed at the time, but I'll definitely be back.

Really knowledgeable and friendly staff. Helped me out with a good cichlid purchase and gave me the knowledge needed to have a fantastic looking colourful tank. Clean store, healthy looking fish and a fantastic range of items.

One of perths best aquarium shops. The selection of fish is outstanding. What I love about this place is it caters for the most basic fish keeper to very advanced. Also a heap of display terrariums and paladariums to learn from or purchase. The staff seem to love their jobs and are so passionate. Well done to the owners and staff for an immaculate store and the amazing knowledge throughout.
