Don’t get a vasectomy here.

I went here- been in pain for months (literally feels like I’ve been recovering from a kick in the balls). I also only got 1/2 a vasectomy as some random tissue was cut away on one side.

The money I’ve spent trying to feel normal again would blow your mind.

It’s the flat out lies you get told I’m the consultation phase regarding how likely complications are- it makes it impossible to make an informed decision- you don’t get to find out the risk you’ve taken until it’s too late.

My whole experience with this practice from start to finish was horrible! The receptionist was very rude, no greeting or smile just blurted out asking what doctor!? I wasn’t sure who I had ended up booking with, apologised and told her my name and time it was booked at. She then rolled her eyes and asked again what doctor abruptly. In my consult with Dr Caroline Adams it was very cold, rushed and again no greeting or warmth. I still left without a prescription as she told me to go to my other GP to get that one. I was told to visit the nurse, once around in the nurses station I didn’t know where to go or who to see as it’s a big area. When I found the nurse sitting down I said hi and she just looked at me, no greeting or smile back and not interested in helping at all. Just told to go around the corner and into the door. I wasn’t sure what door as there are 3. I had to work that out myself. Afterwards she grabbed my sample and just walked off. So I assumed that was it. I’d be embarrassed by this as it’s 3 female staff members that had terrible customer service, bad communication and no friendly manner. These people shouldn’t be in these roles if they treat patients like this!
Will not return.

I had a disappointing experience while trying to book an appointment, as the receptionist named Jonte hung up on me citing being "extremely busy". I felt let down by the lack of empathy, communication, and customer service skills displayed.

A doctor at this clinic is never on time! Not even close to schedule. If you do go here expect to wait over half an hour past your scheduled time, to be seen for less than 5 minutes. - of course been in applecross they charge you in full.

"Farah Ahmed" tried to charge me $80 for no provided service and just telling me that I should book an appointment with another Dr to get Iron infusion slip! Ridiculous

100% waste of time and money. Ray Mullen charges extremely high fees but after lots of consideration and frustration at pointless doctor visits, I finally decided to give him a go. His approach is no different to other doctors. I have no idea what the $100s in extra fees are for. No advice on lifestyle changes to help me feel better which is what I had hoped to take away from it. Just another scam artist with a degree. The fact that his prices are so extreme and he doesn't offer rescheduling should be a warning sign within itself. Don't waste your money too

Urgently trying to find a GP appointment for my sick baby and when I tried to call to book I was greeted very rudely by Elizabeth who was extremely lazy and snappy. Elizabeth asked if my baby was a patient and if we had been with them before. When we said no Elizabeth just hung up the phone instead of helping us. I would never want my child to be helped by anyone from this clinic because of this experience.

When booking appointment the staff were cheery and helpful.

However Dr Ray Mullen charges extremely high fees and does not accept any rescheduling. Deposits are forfeit for a reschedule. We were unable to get our son across town to see the doctor due to difficulty sleeping for the night and naps preceding the appointment and there was no leeway offered. This seems odd for a doctor that claims to be interested in family medicine.

The reception staff were unfriendly, unapologetic and seemed ignorant of their own rescheduling policy on calling back to reschedule.

Very disappointed with this practice. I went there today because my 3 years old daughter has fever for 4 days, cough and runny nose. I've mentioned this on the phone when I made my booking. Asking twice to the receptionist on the phone if she is sure I can come there because of her symptoms otherwise I don't mind book a phone consultation and was told it should be fine.
I arrived there with my daughter, was waiting in the car as instructed, then was told to wait in the foyer the Dr will come out soon. And then was told to go back wait in the car again, and the doctor will ring me. I mean seriously? ! I don't mind getting a phone consultation in the first place so I don't have to waste my time bring my sick daughter to go there, waiting back and forth only to find the doctor will do phone consult and doesn't want to see us. What a waste of money and time! Will never go back again!

I am shocked to see how disorganised this place is! They gave me the wrong results for an ultrasound I did 3 weeks before! They told me no action required while it was actually the opposite case! I paid 160 dollars for a 15 min consultation for nothing. Luckily I wanted to see myself the results otherwise I would never know.the worst service I have ever received fro that price! And when I called the nurse hung up on me. HOW RUDEEEE

What a disgrace! Turned my 13 year old son away because they were about to close! The receptionist wasn’t accomodating and sent them away! More concerned about her finishing on time! She was rude and unsympathetic to the pain my son was in!
How does a medical centre turn a child away with an injury?

Charge a ridiculous amount for being constantly late, rushed appointments with doctors with zero care or knowledge above a basic cold. Wouldn’t recommend to someone I hate

Beyond disappointed! My Dr was more interested in spinning money on a Sunday than the health and well-being of my son and myself. I was desperate for some care and advice to get the both of us well after my child had a 40 degree temp and we’d been unwell for 5 days. My Dr did a quick 10 minute once over of the both of us, said give your child Panadol and $220 thanks. I was hoping to have some antibiotics to clear up the infection in our sinuses or even advice on how to clear up our illness and all I was advised was it’s flu. Not good enough for $220. The reception staff had no customer service skills either. Charging top dollar for the worst service. Not worth it. Go somewhere else people. I’ll never go back.

I don't know how you can charge $115 for my 22 month of old son to see a Dr for 5 minutes to get told 'yes he is unwell but can't confirm what the virus or infection is and to come back the next day if he wasn't better' all you want to do is line your pockets you don't care about your patients health. Disgusting service you should be ashamed!

If I could score no stars I would. My 4 year old boy is very sick so I chose Applecross Medical Group because of close proximity. I was not familiar with this practice or the GP's that had availability today, so I decided to book with a Dr Scott Powell. My son's appointment was at 1.30 pm. I phoned the reception at 1 pm to see if Dr Scott Powell was running on time. The receptionist told me to get there at 1.30 pm. I live 5 minutes away from this medical centre, however unfortunately my son was so sick that I had to keep stopping the car because he was coughing so much causing him to vomit. I left home at 1.00. I got there at 1.35. I went to the reception and they gave me a clip board to fill out. At the same time a man stated "she can fill that out at the desk and I'll then see her for 5 minutes. She should have been here 15 minutes early". The receptionist clarified that the man was Dr Scott Powell. I walked out. I then phoned the office manager and am still waiting for them to return my call. I'm not sure why this man is a Doctor, however compassion, respect and professionalism are definitely not his traits. Take a walk in my shoes mate. As a Registered Nurse and Midwife I meet Doctors like this, but surely these individuals realise that situations happen (especially with children and sickness) and it's a common occurrence that I've waited hours to see a GP and they have apologised and I have accepted it. I would have apologised and explained my situation to this dr, however I was not given that opportunity as the dr simply didn't care about my son. Will never go to this dr or medical group again.

The Dr's are lovely, however the reception service could definitely be improved. Always very unhelpful and rude over the phone. Will be changing practices.

OK, so I have now visited this practice twice in the last twelve months. My first visit early this year was excellent, faultless, and as a person looking to relocate to Perth in the near future I was confident I had found a new practice. Yesterday's visit was not good, the disinterest from the Doctor was palpable. Zero advice given on how to treat my condition, not one word. He simply told me to call him Friday for a phone consult if it got worse. I asked for some advice on an unrelated health issue, to which he refused to respond in any meaningful way, other than to ask me to see him again in January, ". And I'll talk to you about it then. ". At this point he got up and walked out, basically leaving me to find my own way back to reception. He made every effort to ensure I knew he had far more important things to deal with than me, his patient, and couldn't get me out of there fast enough. In/out maybe 5 or 6 minutes - $140.00

Ive had 2 GP (one retired) here since 2010, both have been more than willing to help me out everytime with my medical Health issue with no hesitation. Yes they're busy alot, but name a large surgery that's not, but had no problem waiting. Happy with all services I've used so far.

After my previous doctor retired from Applecross Medical Clinic I found it difficult to find another doctor that was a good fit for me until I spoke to Dr Kevin Eng a few years ago. He has turned my mental health around after being is quite a bad place for many many years. I have enormous respect and gratitude for the empathy he showed towards me and the way he got me back to a good place in a matter of weeks.
Recently, he correctly and quickly diagnosed the cause of bad shoulder pain that I have had for some time. It vanished within 2 days of seeing him.
Wonderful and thorough doctor. Highly recommended.
