APM Employment Services - Cloverdale

Looking to change careers, I had the good fortune of working with Matt Potter. This man is super organised, knowledgeable, compassionate and really helpful.
He has large pool of resources connecting you with people you need to know and provides you with opportunities that would otherwise have slipped by you. Super easy to talk to was also very helpful in getting me reimbursed with any out of pocket expenses I was entitled to. I would definitely recommend this organisation and this man. Thank you Matt.

I've told them multiple times what days I have work and they keep making my appointments on days that I work. When I call up no-one ever answers, so I leave a message for a call back. I never received a call back.
I am insulin dependent and have explained that my housekeeping job is too physical and makes managing my blood sugars impossible, so I explained that I don't want to do cleaning anymore as it is negatively impacting my health. They keep saying there's other cleaning jobs they can get me. What part of cleaning jobs are too physical for my permanent medical condition? I am also unable to get a driver's licence due to my declining health and my provider was frustrated because I couldn't get to my appointment at 9am when school drop off is 8: 50 and 16 bus routes were dropped. The next bus leaves my child's school at 9: 20.

They don't try to help you become employable. They don't find appropriate jobs or any jobs for that matter. I was asked to email my payslips for the past 6 months (which I did) then was scolded at my next appointment about not sending them. I told him I did email them before my last appointment and when he searched his inbox, surprise surprise they were there!

Every appointment it's the same thing. "So how's it going? " Takes 20 minutes to print a piece of paper. "Here's your next appointment, see you next time". What do they actually do? Why couldn't that just be done over the phone? I waste 2 hours just going to pick up a piece of paper, every single time! They bad mouth all the other job agencies, but they are exactly the same, probably worse.
