Jenni and her team at Aoki were awesome. It's not just about the hair cut and colour it s the education on managing and stying curly hair that was invaluable. I wish I had met the team years ago. Definitely recommend the salon if you have curly hair, the best place to have your hair looked after.

I always feel like an absolute curly goddess leaving this place. Refreshing to find a senior stylist who actually listens and has the skills bring to life your wildest curly girl vision. Jenni is such burst of vibrant energy and genuinely cares about how her clients feel. I drive an hour to have my hair cut here and it is totally worth it, wouldn't dream of going anywhere else in Perth. I've had my curls cut on 3 different continents and Jenni is a mile ahead of the rest and she manages to cut curls in half the time of any other curly hair specialist that I have see. Please update your store hours to be accurate I just travelled all the way over to your salon to buy hair products only for your store to be closed very inconveniencing.

This has happened twice now, and its a long trip so I am now trying to see if I can purchase my hair products elsewhere

Best hair cut I’ve ever had. After struggling with thick curly/frizzy hair all my life I started playing with the curly girl method about a year ago. The missing piece of my puzzle was a good hair cut and now I love my long curly hair. Jenny is so effervescent and there is a lovely vibe in the salon. Thank you!

You can determine a talented hairstylist with curly hair. The story common to all with curly hair is the many horrendous cuts, and maybe one, two or three good cuts in a lifetime? We moved from afar and the one thing I dreaded the most was finding a new hairstylist.it is a stress for one with curly hair!

After one bad haircut in our new location, I tried Jenni at Aoki and was very impressed. Jenni is well versed in curly hair cuts, and besides my own, I would certainly entrust her with any type of hair.she is a keeper! Her staff is very friendly and the environment is very relaxed and inviting. I highly recommend Aoki Hair.

Just started using this salon and love the curly hairdressing skills by Jenni and all her staff. They are super friendly, organised and so willing to teach me how to embrace the way my hair wants to go! Also Taliah is a complete winner when it comes to colour.

I’ve been having my hair cut at Aoki for a couple of years now and find Jenni and her team to always be friendly and professional. My fine curls love the cut and I have so much more body afterwards. We always have a discussion about what I want to do with my curls and Jenni is happy to look at pics I’ve found. I would recommend her anyone who wants a fab curly cut.

What an amazing Experience, From the moment you step into Aoki Hair there is a feeling of fun, warmth and acceptance. I had been looking forward to my appointment for over 3 months and it was worth the wait.with smiles all round, teas and treats served on an Italian tray, forms filled in, jenni arrives.
We consulted fo a while exchanging photos and Jenni went to town, I got a fringe. The shampoo was great and the price good considering I was in there for over 2 hours. Jenni is passionate about what she does and it shows, I will be back

Not a good experience! Last year for my school ball I wanted to rock my natural curls and decided to go for a diffuse. Staff used way too much product and left my curls limp, flat and crunchy. I also had a scroll through the other reviews and find the responses on the lower star reviews highly unprofessional and aggressive. Would not return to this salon again.

Edit: ur response is highly unprofessional.and also to call curly hair too tangled is just odd as curly specialists.

Before Aoki I tried numerous other salons to disastrous results. My hair was
a constant unworkable frizzy mess. I was quite fortunate when I happened across an acquaintance with the most wonderful curly hair I've ever seen, who recommended their hair dresser.

The staff are all wonderful, the hair wash is relaxing, the tea is lovely. But most importantly they do a damn good job. I always leave delighted with the results.
