Anghiti Indian Cuisine reviews
42 Firstly, I will start with saying really bad customer service & professionalism.
We book half of restaurant as we had 42 guests & planned this 2mths ahead. The way the restaurant organised & prepared for everything was DISAPPOINTING & Terrible!
Completely ruined my dad 50th birthday.
People needed to wait for food for 30-45mins, it was buffet service food was never filled without asking, drinks not really being serviced nor having glasses for guests on tables!
Lastly, food was really disappointing from too much salt in the butter chicken, to gulab gamun tasting just a sugar ball, no authentic taste or anything.
Deepal was manager dealing with the booking, HIGHLY NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!
Disappointing & HORRIBLE!
We've tried the food here several times and it's always amazing. Our young kids love it as well. The coconut prawn curry is our new favourite!
I've been meaning to post a review for a while as this is my go to for authentic Indian cuisine in the Northern suburbs. Great value, amazing flavours and always busy on a Friday and Saturday night. BYO aswell which suits me. A real hidden gem!
Always delicious, authentic, flavoursome food, cosy, unpretentious atmosphere and service with a smile. Thank you. Don't ever change.a joy to watch you work that kitchen!
Got a good feed at this place. Can recommend it. Has a good selection whether you like it hot or not.
Always the most gorgeous scents of cooking spices when you walk in here. Usually book for a Friday evening and table always available. Wonderful tandoori mixed grill. Have had a few of the spicy curries and they have been good and full of flavour. Perhaps could have gone a touch spicier, but that's minor. The butter chicken our daughter has is also savoury and flavoured, unlike some sweetish concoctions elsewhere. Naans are great. Portions are plentiful, always a doggie bag if needed. To top it off, Anghiti is byo, so perfect for keeping prices down and drinking what takes your fancy. Great spot.
Always awesome food and dishes
Lamb rogan Josh, kerma naan, chicken tikka always worth the hours drive to dine
I miss your food
I love everything you offer us. We live in Mandurah and we are dying for Anghiti.
Anghiti Padbury has been my favourite local Indian restaurant for many years. I have never been disappointed with the food. The quality of the food is always top notch and full of flavour. Service has always been friendly and efficient. The restaurant provides a lot of take away and delivery orders so dining in can sometimes involve waiting a little too long for your food however the wait is always worth it. Anghiti is a relatively small restaurant so book ahead on the weekends as it gets busy. Plenty of parking in the Padbury shopping centre carpark. If you like Indian food then Anghiti is definitely worth a visit.
Been here whith the boys a few tones. The staff are friendly and the food is always delicious.
Went in with a friend and we just ordered their dum chicken curry and naan. The naan was ok but the chicken in the curry was quite a let down. It was very chewy and felt like it was cooked quite a long time ago. I believe the curry would have tasted better if the bbq chicken was freshly cooked.
Never again. Waited too long nothing right bread was soggy worst delivery we have had. Can't even get the pappadums.
Really loved the Anghiti in Innaloo, but this location is just giving the chain a bad name. Waited more than 1 hour for a takeaways the first time and the second time more than 2 hours. Needless to say I won't be back.
Recently moved to Padbury and still on the hunt for a good Indian takeaway, sadly this isn’t.it. Bland rice, garlic naan was flavourless, doughy and looked to be covered in tumeric, why? Chicken jalfrazi was average at best, all I could taste was vinegar and tomatoes. Perhaps I chose wrong and they use a Pataks jar sauce for this…
Won’t be back, perhaps the 15min drive to Dhaba Innaloo is worth it, Dhaba is still the only top notch takeaway curry I’ve had in Perth, being from the UK my curry standards are high.
I will not be back, the hunt continues.
Bought some takeaway on Friday night. After eating it, both my wife and I couldn't sleep and felt our bodies were so hot all night. Finished the food on Saturday night and had the same experience through the night and sore throat.
We are fine today but we are wondering what flavourings they use.maybe a bit too much MSG. We only eat Asian food and the spicier the better for me, so it's not that. Big portions though.
Actually, we have had takeaway many times and have always been happy before. Have had a reply saying that MSG isn't used, which is great.
First time here and it won’t be the last, food was delicious, we had lamb balls and lamb sheek Kabab
Lamb Rogan josh, paneer tikka masala saffron rice and Peshwari naan everything was delicious friendly staff and very good service
I could not have been more shocked that this restaurant had no interest in discussing my food order. I was more shocked when the "owner" started to abuse me.
You would think positive reviews would help when ordering food!
My go to Indian in Perth, food is always cooked beautifully rich and spiced. It's much better than a lot of other fair in Perth. The Padbury restaurant is some how better than the other one!
The food is absolutely delicious and is goof value for money. I definitely recommend trying the fiery meatballs!
Just had the BEST goat curry in Perth. And one of the best Indian meals for a very long time. Absolutely fantastic.
