One star for the loveliest staff at the bar and minus stars for the band. Asked them to play whisky in a jar and they said they don’t play Irish music.

This evening i was forcefully removed from the venue by security, they blatantly refused to explain why they were removing me and the manager yelled in my face as a result of what was clearly a misunderstanding.they must have mistaken me for someone else and i’d much appreciate the security footage from the evening to follow up further. I have worked in hospitality for a long time and i fail to see how the manager in charge was ever able to achieve such a position with the clear hatred for people he possesses.the staff were wonderful and i feel terrible that they are in such incapable hands.

Went here for drinks with a cousin of mine. Sat outdoors and enjoyed the drinks with a nice view.

Arrived here at approximately 11: 20pm (40 min before supposed closing time), just wanting one quick drink, the bartender looked me straight in the eye and said bluntly said they were "closed" whilst physically pouring another customer a beer (and I also noticed all the taps and tills were still open). I asked politely about their opening hours again as I was told differently, bartender was adamant they were closed when quite clearly they weren't. Absolutely abysmal service. I work in a bar and wouldn't treat customers like this. Do better. You have lost my money.

The vibe there is really good! Probably the only pub in Perth that's a real pub! Very nice Irish pub!

I was mistreated and some what victimised. Do your self a favour and don't go to this place. Many better venues. Staff were not helpful and rude.

Bar man with the noodle fringe needs a bottle of cop on, highly disrespectful, no good for the business, social welfare or sweeping the roads would do him well, absolute sausage

Went there for 2 drinks as I was passing by. Handed them my card for payment, checked my account a few days later and was charged $40 for 2 normal drinks. The bar staff are shifty. Have tried to call to resolve this, but they never answer their phone. Don’t waste your time going here.

Seems like an okay place but even though it says there is food and the Facebook page has a menu, there was no food available when we visited. Security seems a bit over the top at 7pm - license check, picture and bags searched. Lol.

Absolutely terrible, the staff are a joke. Ordered drinks for 6 of us, two more joined, I went back up to get two more drinks, and the barmaid gave me a water mix rather than vodka and I could see the colour different I tasted them and told her they were water, she argued saying they were vodka, then changed her story and said I ordered a vodka water mix with raspberry, which is incorrect. They wanted me too pay vodka prices for a drink with water, the manager a Scottish girl who is nothing more than a tyrant, should be replaced immediately giving the bar a bad reputation and has no clue what she is doing. The manager then ordered security to remove a me from the premises by force, with no Warning they grabbed me from behind and started forcing me out, I wasn’t asked too leave, and when I said to the security if yous want me too leave I’ll walk out myself they still insisted on twisting my arm and being forceful. The Scottish “manager” ordered this her security staff said outside. There is absolutely no customer service, they try to take advantage of people who they think are intoxicated. This is not the first time they have served water instead of alcohol. I suspect pocketing cash is going on. The staff should be investigated. No way too treat customer, all I can say is thankfully it’s only a bar she is running and not something of importance. A premises that sells alcohol and think they can get away with anything they want. Strongly recommend not even setting foot inside the door, all staff, security included very unprofessional.

The bar person Jane has great energy and made my night! Being new in Perth she gave me lots of tips and places to visit. Great service. And she is one of the best that I have met in perth after I came here.

Not a good experience going there for the first time, I couldn't get the drink I wanted because they have a restricted licence, so I ended up just settling for a bottle of Corona beer. They also don't serve coffee or tea. First and last time I'll ever go to this restricted venue for drinks.

Used to love coming here until recently. We went out as a family to watch the live music like we have done before. This time for some unknown reason one of the door men grabbed my son by the scruff of his neck and threw him to the ground. He wasn't told why nor have the venue responded to my email of complaint. The police advised us to email the venue and request a reason for my son been man handled in such manner as they couldn't do anything, even though technically it was assault. No response has been received. Which I am very disappointed about. Now my son has a 6 month ban from all venues using the scanning machine for been violent. Completely a lie and unbelievable that this can be done foe no reason.
We won't be spending our money here again. By the looks of the other reviews it's the door men letting down the joint!

Not a bad joint. Too bad they dont recognise or acknowledge local dwellers as well at they should. I dont bother going in that much.not as authentic as one would like. Ambience and decor is good and the regulars are nice.if only management would acknowledge those who are their 'bread and butter' customers, they probably do a bit better!

Irish Pub, reminds me of when I was at the British Isles in 79. A quaint Irish public establishment. Live music

Look it was pretty good but after drinking there til the early hours I've managed to wake up with a pretty sore head.

Atmosphere was great, just happened to roll on in when ireland were playing in the rugby world cup and hats off to the passionate irishmen, even us aussies loved the dedication they showed

Yeah it's alright. The most entertaining bit is looking at the bouncers tattooed eyes to be fair.

The manager as far as I know was more interested in talking to her mate had 1 drink and had to wait end up walking out and going to pub sown the road
