Amelia Park Lodge (Tavern) reviews
105 Lovely setting in the gardens of Amelia Park. Food was lovely and wines were great. Book ahead would be advisable.
Prices are up there but the food speaks for itself. Enjoy
The food was delicious, servings just right, dessert were delicious, the service from the staff was excellent
Food was lovely. Spoke to staff about background music. Too loud and drowning out conversation. Entrance ceiling needs cleaning of all cobwebs and dust but building very impressive. Toilet wall holes need filling. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Young man very attentive to my feedback.
At EV Charters electric car chauffeur service, we hear great reviews from clients returning from Amelia Pk. If you're in the South West and looking for somewhere with a relaxed vibe and good food, you can't go past the team at Amelia Pk. Enjoy.
We had lunch, service, and staff were very friendly and quick service. The setting is incredible. We sat outside on the verandah. My husband had fish and chips, he said, was really good. I had the Korean chicken, the sauce, and kimchi was good. But the chicken was dry and tastless.
We had a meal at the tavern. We're often in Busselton and have dined there numerous times. We were a bit disappointed as it's got quite expensive and the food quality is not as good. We had fish and chips a steak sandwich and a bottle of house wine and it was $115. A bit expensive for a tavern we thought.
Was very unfortunate as the reviews as location looked awesome but for the price and size of meals we received wasn't a good start followed by our plate being hotter than the meat it was resting on. Very disappointing sorry but thought you should know hope the next visitors get better
Very good service with relaxing surroundings, enjoyed some cocktails and organised a birthday party for the middle of March 2023. Reasonable prices and food. Looking forward to the party.
Very poor ambience and hospitality to tourists.
Great if you're a local.
Very poor greetings and direction.disappointing for somewhere with great reviews and not many other surroundings.unfortunately we headed home
Food is very average my steak sandwich was bland and for 35 dollars over priced great drinks list.
This place is a ripper great food and service is outstanding which is rare these days
Highly recommend this place great for families
We booked for two people to sit on the terrace. The food was lovely and it’s a nice setting but we were really disappointed in the length of time it took to get a drink, to get our entree and then to get our mains. We weren’t asked if we would like anymore drinks after finishing the first one. The wait staff were polite and maybe they were very busy, but they weren’t waiting tables, they were instead setting up for the next sitting. Customer Service is the difference between success and failure in any business and I’m afraid Amelia Park you failed!
Food was delicious but the service was a bit of a let down tonight. The veggies we'd ordered came to the table as the mains were being finished eaten.
Food and service was outstanding. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back
The steak was tough and bland, the fish and chips were bland with a tiny portion. However market fish was amazing.
Big shout out to Helen today for making us feel very welcome. We were looking for a venue to host a birthday party. She went out of her way to spend time with us explaining everything with great patience. She was so kind, respectful and not judgemental. Thanks a million you really made a difference in a special ladies day today. The world needs more people like you
Been meaning to visit for years after recommendation from locals and then literally stumbled across it while navigating the bypass. Great venue with casual and formal seating options, lovely staff and extensive drinks menu including a sake negroni! Meals are a little pricy but thats the way things are heading and I was happy with my scotch fiillet cooked the way I wanted. Would go back again.
Excellent food, even better beers, but the friendly staff were the standout for me. Highly recommend.
The food, ambience and staff were amazing. We had 12 in our party so they gave us the Whiskey Room to ourselves. Our waistress Eden Moon was exceptional.
For the attention of the Service Manager.
Hello I would like to bring to your attention some constructive criticism, we had a table booked 6pm in the Whiskey Room 23/10/2021 for 10 people.
Our party was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food for the prices paid. My family often have out of town quests staying with us for the weekend and we generally go out for at least one meal. Past experiences with Amelia Park Lodge have been a great meal, that is until now.
Eight of the 10 meals were very disappointing, especially the "Archipelago" @ $45.00 EA our table had two, the volume of seafood per dish would fit in a 1 cup measure the bread was stale and the broth in the bow was underwhelming.
As far as front of house service, fantastic but they were let down by the kitchen! The meals took such a long time to come out If I am honest I doubt very much that any of the people on our table will be rushing back any time soon.
I hope that this is helpful information for you going forward, it would be a crying shame if the same issues confront your future guests.
