Always great food and polite service when we pick up our THAI takeout. Food is delicious and wonderful flavours. An absolute go to for great Thai food.

The best thai restaurant I have ever been to with excellent customer service. They were really sweet. Highly recommended!

Ordered a take out. It was the worst penang curry I've ever had.

There was plenty of chicken in it but the sauce was so oily and runny that I couldn't eat it. I appreciate that all chefs do things differently but most penang curries I've had over many years have all been relatively consistent. This on the other hand wasnt like any of them and it felt like the consistency of olive oil, and red in colour.

I called to complain, and although the waitress was apologetic all the chef could say was " they don't agree".

Needless to say I threw it out.

No refund offered either, and I couldn't be bothered walking 2km back to prove it to them. Ruined dinner and $25 poorer.

Will not return as they made zero effort to rectify it.

This gem is tucked away upstairs but means a glorious place to dine overlooking Rokeby Rd, plenty of choice on the menu and everything is well presented and super tasty.

The lady who appeared to be the boss was very abrupt, almost rude. Maybe a holiday might help. Pity because the food was delicious.

Not recommended, very poor quality.spring rolls and massamam curry were average, the pad thai was basically soggy noodles with some sweet chilli sauce.all up it was very disappointing and certainly not worth the price.

Ordered Green curry, penang curry, Yum Nua, Larb Kai and steamed rice for 3 people. Loving the flavours. I personally think the spicy level is comfortable but could be a little higher (for context, I find Macdonalds Mcspicy burger spicy)

Got a green curry takeaway. Not a very generous serving, however there was lots of chicken. Problem was there was too much chicken in comparison to the amount of sauce. The chicken was also a little bit dry but it did the job. The sauce itself was quite tasty and one of the best things about the meal, however it was really runny - almost the same consistency as water. If they could thicken up the sauce and have the correct ratio of chicken then I would’ve scored higher.

I don’t know if this was an off night or something but out takeout was terrible. I ordered a $19 beef salad and the steak was chewy and there was barely any salad! We also ordered a chicken and prawn pad thai and it was BLAND, almost no sauce to it…no flavour whatsoever. The massaman was tasty albeit the meat cut was strange and flat rather than chunky. Would not order again from here.

The staff, especially the lady at reception is rude and unprofessional, doesn’t even know how to attend calls and take complete booking information. The food however was alright surprisingly.
I would highly recommend a customer service training programme for all the staff.

Tasty authentic Thai cuisine. You should try the green apple salad with fish crumbs. So, yummy and the crumbs gives a blend of textures in the salad.

This restaurant has been our local family favorite for many years. Affordable family style food that always taste great and fresh. Open nightly so we know its always open when we want to organise a quick family catchup. Plenty of parking too!

A very sad ordeal. I ordered Green Curry takeaway for $17.50 after discovering I had no time to cook for myself.

On arrival, my suspicion arose when I received a thin leaky container in the near empty restaurant at peak hour (I assumed due to the aftermath of COVID-19). It weighed next to nothing.

Upon opening at home, I found watery sauce with a meagre amount of submerged beef strips resembling the unspeakable, and about 9 or 10 green peas grotesquely floating on top of it.

The sauce was so watery it simply evaporated into the rice when served (in this case, poured), leaving just the beef and peas colourless and lonely on top. "I hope this tastes better than it looks, " I remember thinking.

It wasn't. It was under-spiced, lacked heat, and was generally unpleasant to put in my mouth. The beef was tasteless and gristly, and the peas were the frozen type and overcooked to top it off (It may seem petty to criticise the peas, but they were half the dish!).

It was a depressing affair to say the least. I felt ripped off and hungry.

I remember visiting Amarin regularly years ago, and being delighted at the generous portions of delicious food on offer for takeaway.

Perhaps it was just a one-off dud. So, I will return again, but it will still take time for me to heal from this experience.

Even in 2021, $17.50 should at least either fill you up or tickle your senses just a bit. This just made me feel empty inside.

Sadly, 1 star.

Very disappointing
We ordered fish chef special, fish tasted dirty and the sauce was sweet chilli sauce from a bottle with a sprig of corriander and a fresh slice of chilli and not even enough fish to be even one fillet certainly not $20 worth, basil beef had 5 tiny bits of beef, no basil and the rest was veg, not even veg that is commonly used in thai cuisine third dish seafood curry was no flavour. I never write bad reviews but I was just blown away at the poor tasting food, when a jar of thai paste at supermarket is better or I can cook better at home and I'm not Thai. It really isn't hard to make a tasty dish for a reasonable price. I used to come hear regularly and was always good unfortunately I won't return

Went to this restaurant with my family. We ordered:
Fried Rice (14.5)
Tom Yum Chicken (9.5)
Massaman Beef (18)
Chicken Satay (9.5)

Everything tasted pretty good. The restaurant has a quiet environment, is large and spacious. Prices very good. Wine was good and cheap. Only 5 for a glass of decent red

Wonderful food great service.really nice flavours, try the Tamarind Prawns, i am not big on prawns usually but this dish was well worth me making an exception. Nice upstairs location too. I have eaten here at least 20 times over last 9 years, always high quality food and service.

Food is good and the prices are reasonable. Excellent service. The restaurant is neat and tidy. There is enough parking available on the rooftop.
