Al's Card Shop

Al is a very good man. I was new in Perth, many years ago, in the middle of the 40+ degree summer heat that I had never experienced before & felt so dizzy & sick. Didn't have my mobile on me & had no coins to ring from a public phone which I couldn't even find. Had no idea of direction, couldn't read maps, didn't know where I was or how to get to where I needed to go (for a job interview), didn't know the bus numbers either. I was completely lost. Basically, I was a wreck. I walked into Al's shop looking for help. He was such a kind & helpful soul. He dialled the number for the interview place & didn't charge me a dime. Connected me to the boss. Then offered me a drink of water & a seat to catch my breath & rest my tired feet. He then proceeded to very patiently explain the directions & provide me all the information I needed to get to my destination. I will never forget his kindness, hospitality & the sheer goodness of his heart, to help a total stranger who I could befittingly say (in MY case) literally "who just walked off the street" & who he went out of his way to help! Go to spot in Perth for everything cards. Decently priced. They’ve added graded cards to their selections, PSA/Beckett/CGC some graded as 10s as well and don’t break the bank.

If i could rate it lower i would. Went into the store for the first time in years after having a poor experience there before. Times change people change so why not give them a second chance and upon entering i hear “is he here to buy the cards or steal them” with a quick shush straight after. Quite unacceptable and i guess they haven't changed over the years, the bloke behind the counter was nice so they have that going for them.

Really friendly and helpful staff.
Went there for my son to spend some of his birthday $ and the staff were so nice to him and even threw in a few freebies, which made his day. He got some awesome cards, and we left very happy customers.

Rude staff they take it ver seriously the tiniest bit of damage and they won’t take the card they charge lots but it’s good to go in and look at the cards

I've shopped here for years, which makes my experience all the more disappointing. Here's my word of warning if you're going to trade in some singles: do not deal with the old man. He will be condescending, he will significantly lowball you, he will bully you to accept his terms, he will be dismissive when you try to negotiate. Quite a way to treat your return customers. Well the joke is on you Al's, because I won't be returning.

Not the prettiest store, but the range is huge, in stock, and at competitive pricing. My first stop for MTG cards and accessories.

Went in with my son. He had several high quality cards. The old gentlemen serving us was rude and believed that the cards were worthless. I won’t be ever coming back to this store. Old mate needs to go!

Very nice and neat shop.the man working there was very patient and kind.even though i wasnt able to sell my things, i understand him and since it was my first time doing something like it before, it was a very pleasant experience.maybe instead of going to eb games to buy cards, go to als card shop!

I was very happy with the range, a nice little nerdy community of people.
A bit autism filled but that’s what you want when you’re buying cards and collectables.
Highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants to get amungst colllecting Pokémon basketball yugioh ect. Family friendly environment yo kids are safe here

Excellent place to visit. Tucked away they have lots and lots of cards and collectibles.

You can spend hours going through their trays, picking out things, making a little pile, making another little pile.

They also do pre-orders and get stock in fairly promptly.

My daughter's brought in their pocket money to buy some cards and we're thrilled to receive a discount. Thanks for the kind service
