My 1998 Sony TRV900 had dust on this inside of the lens which requires the camera to be fully dismantled for cleaning. I could not find anyone to do the job since it was such an old camera, the job required extreme precision and no one was experienced enough. Thomas gladly took on the job and it was done within a week and at a very reasonable cost, Danke Thomas!

I had a mishap involving a Canon DSLR, a tripod, and a child - not a great combination! Thankfully, Thomas at Allcam was able to help me out. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast he was able to carry out the job (a few days for my issue).

I have an old Sony Handycam that I hadn't used for a number of years and it had an issue when playing back my mini DV tapes with old family footage. After having a not so good experience with a previous camera repairer, I had to find someone who knew exactly how to fix the camera as well someone who was professional, responsive and who could communicate. As soon as I emailed Thomas he replied promptly and within a few days I was able to drop my camera to him. He then assessed and quoted me on the cost for repairs very quickly and after giving him the go ahead to repair, he managed to fix the camera issue and have my camera back to me within 48 hours. Dealing with Thomas was a fantastic experience! He is knowledgeable, communicates to you throughout the process, keeps you updated on the job status using his customer portal and is a really nice guy! It's hard to find people like Thomas nowadays so if you have an issue with a video camera - contact Thomas! Absolutely brilliant service! I also had him convert some 8mm and VHSC video tapes to digital and he did an amazing job! Highly recommend!

I recently had an issue with an uncommon item - a Konica Minolta 35mm Film Scanner. Many camera and scanner repair services in Perth would not even have a look at the advice, given its scarcity and lack of parts. Thomas was more than willing to have a look and was able to repair the unit within 24h and parts were not required! Highly recommended.

After getting the run around from other repair guys, was pleasantly supplied by the speed and timely response. My camera was seen to and a quote arranged very quickly, and rather than insist on expensive repairs to line his own pocket, he honestly told me it would be more economical to purchase a new camera. If I am ever unfortubate enough to break another camera I will definitely be calling again!

Great to be able to get a free quote. Repaired my Hi8 camera that others had not been able to fix. Wish I had found AllCam earlier.
Also took the opportunity to get my wedding VHS tape digitised that I no longer have a player for. Cheaper than the services I found online and first class quality.

I called Thomas re a problem within my JVC camcorder and arranged to take the unit to hIm for an estimate. He very quickly diagnosed the problem and said that he would have to order in the offending cable which could be 3-`4 weeks. He phoned me the next afternoon to advise that on ch/ecking his stock of spares, he had the cable and the camera was all fixed and ready to go. Excellent service and a very nice person to deal with. Wish I had known about him before to fix other camera problems. Would definitely recommend him and will use his services again.
