Alfred Hines Seaside Home

We just had our youth camp in this place and it was one of the best campsite we ever been on. The caretaker is really friendly towards us and he very nice. The place is amazing. All our youth were happy with their dorms and the place. I love how big the kitchen is, it had plenty of room to move around. They had a big hall, we fitted 100 people in there and we still had room to move around. We didn’t feel cramp. I love how beautiful the garden looks it really is a nice touch.

Superb location and great beachside facilities for kids or (in our case) a University field camp. Not a resort, but good basic accommodation, a massive commercial kitchen and large hall and outdoor areas for a range of activities. The new caretaker is incredibly friendly and helpful, and is doing a great job improving the amenity of the place. Accommodation for 100+ I think.

30 men stayed at Alfred Hines Seaside Camp for four days and we enjoyed ourselves. At the end of October the weather was warming up, and we asked friends to cook for us. You could do the same.

Very basic dorm-style accommodation with shared bathrooms and multiple beds per room. Large community hall with industrial sized kitchen attached. Everything is somewhat worn and old but it has a lovely charm and the situation is unbeatable - right next to and sometimes on the beach! Beautiful location.

Couldn't have a shower for 3 days cause there was no hot water, period boxes were full in the toilets which is gross, rooms were worn and old, one of my friends ran threw the volleyball net at night and ended up in hospital.

Great sense of community and people are very friendly and engaging, thanks a lot!

Right on the beach, fantastic for group holidays. Rooms are a little worn.
