ALDI Wattle Grove

Very small store. Didn't have what I needed which was ok, turns out it's not something they stock. Friendly staff.

Customer service is robotic. May as well remove all of your checkouts and just keep 2 because you never have more than 2 servers on at a time.

I enjoy Aldi for the interesting walk through each time I visit. I always have a sense of anticipation of what to see next. The variety, quality and price are undoubtedly a big draw card and I generally spend more than intended.
A great shopping experience

Some things are great, a couple items fail but overall very good. Best meats of the supermarkets, especially the cherry wood smoked bacon.

Always busy and never anybody around to ask for help. I look for the specials and on numerous occasions the specials are never in stock

Assume all customers are stealing from them, will search your bags and are not too friendly about you objecting (while complying) but apparently its ok because "it's written on the door"
I hate this ridiculous insulting policy and you should too.

Their shelves of what stock they have is neat and tidy and clean.not the staffs fault low stock lines.dont give them a serve about it.doing top notch guys good prices are excellenr maynot get my brands but got everything l need

Dunno about Aldi Australia, but the one in Wattle Grove is pretty darn good. Prices are reasonable given the current situation over here with Covid, Eastern States floods and all the transport problems associated with them.
"Interesting" array of centre aisle goodies and tempters. Everything from knickers (cotton or synthetic) to garden edgers. (Good old fashioned 2 stroke petrol edgers, not the new eco-friendly battery powered units that last 2 weeks) and really useful basketball game hoops and stands. I mean. Who doesn't want one of those cluttering up the driveway?
Jokes aside. Pretty much good value for money. If you don't want a huge life expectancy from your purchases.

I went in there at 7: 56 pm and the door were closed. I asked the staff I just needed a bottle of milk for kids he didn’t let me in. I told him your stores closes at 8pm though. He was just in a rush to go home.he said oh I can’t let anyone in it’s closing time I’ll never shop at this place again.

Really poor customer service. I had never been into an Aldi with a liquor line before. However, this was the only till that was operating. I was wanting to buy normal retail items and was refused service at the counter for not having ID and told to come back in the store and wait until a staff member is free and can open another register quite sharply. After waiting in line for a long while this was very frustrating. Two tills should be operating not just the liquor till.

In my last 2 visits I noticed this.folks buying alcohol with or without food are asked for Vax proof. Those that aren't buying alcohol don't get quizzed on they're Vax status. Why is it so Grasshopper? Hmmm

Went in the other day and had a great experience with Cassidy on the checkout she was professional, accurate and helpful especially with my three young children thanks heaps and keep up the good work

Staff are always helpful. Sometimes busy, only complaint is rubbish in trolleys and around wipes bin for days

Good range, staff are generally receptive to the need to open uo new tills. Could organise middle section a little more logically but quite good all round

Went into aldi to buy some bread and milk, only available check out was the over 18s which id knew id be asked for ID and most likely not served. As thought the man moved us to the other checkout which we had to wait for another lady to come. All said i dont mind waiting and being moved. I then hear him talking sh-t to the other customers about me saying,
"Its always the kids wanting to be adults"
Plus other nasty comments, so thankyou aldi for embarrassing me and making me feel horrible for wanting to buy milk and bread so i can f-ucking eat.

Staff are just totally on a power trip. I understand that it's store policy to check ID in the liquor lane and do bag checks, but the way the staff ask is totally out of line. They always ask in a way that's incredibly accusatory, even if a person has done absolutely nothing suspicious. I also notice they always tend to ask people of colour for bag checks more often, so they appear to be racially profiling customers.

Staff need to calm tf down with checking id had my bag searched and got IDed without even buying alcohol. From looking at the reviews this is clearly an ongoing problem that management is ignoring.

Just moved in the area and have been going to this aldi for a month now. Every time I go, my bags are checked despite them not checking anyone else's bags. It appears as though the workers are racially profiling me, especially because I'm coming in so regularly and still getting asked to show my bags while other customers are not questioned.

Used to shop here for the convenience, but the staff have driven me away. They are always very short with customers and talk in a way that's borderline disrespectful. I'm not usually one to complain as I also work in customer service and understand it can be difficult, but honestly for a suburban grocery store there's no need for the staff to be as aggressive as they are.
