ALDI Kalamunda reviews
49Seen one Aldi, you've seen them all. This is an Aldi. Its main differentiator is that it's within 1km of my house.
I really like Aldi for the good prices and the special buys but I’ve been disappointed recently by the staff. Twice in recent weeks I’ve observed the shopper in front me have their shopping fall all over the ground when the paper bag broke. On both occasions the staff member that had just served them did absolutely nothing to help. They didn’t even call out and offer to help. When it happened tonight the young lady had two young kids and the store was not busy. I offered help but it should have been offered by the checkout person. There’s no excuse for not helping.
I bought Blazing chicken wings nibbles from kalamunda Aldi And it Smelt funny when it was cooking in the air fryer. I proceeded to eat it And It made me really sick. Buyer be aware food poisoning from audi
In this day and age, in this economy, there is only 1 place to shop. 1 place people can still afford. 1 place where you can buy an exercise bike and almond milk yet still cannot supply a decent enough sized jar of Salsa for Nachos. Aldi, It's all you've got left.
Aldi products are way cheaper and i like the Random staff from electronic to clothing to gardening you name it. I enjoyed shopping at Aldi
Good experience. Managed to get a few things I haven't been able to get for several weeks. So happy lady here.
Its cheap, but the lines are often longer than the list of reasons to shop here.also what the heck is frooty loops like bro be creative
Service is terrible - only one cashier on duty, then the call out for another register open, takes ages for them to come and they stay open for maybe 5 minutes.
Nice shop
Plenty of variety
Reasonably priced. But don't agree with their policy. I've been in there several times with s small backpack on my back. I've gone around the isles shopping. When I've got to the counter they've asked to see my backpack which I've refused them looking through my personal items. I've told them that they can clearly see from cameras that theres nothing been put into the bag. That I'm at the counter paying for the items. All my shopping is in trolley then put onto the conveyor belt and paid for. They've said it's their policy but its not the law. They said if I dont like it I dont have to shop there. A few times I've put the shopping back. I dont want anyone looking into my personal space my personal items, purse etc. I think they have a bloody cheek.
Quiet during the middle of the day, but hectic during weekends and peak shopping time.
Spacious aisles inside
Lot's of parking available outside.
Very Bad. I have just returned from NSW where I purchased Storm light beer 2.7%, but can't buy it in Perth. No stars.
Good store, nice selection and very clean, staff are polite but there's often a decent wait as there's usually one register open.
How dare you accuse someone of not being 18 when they are only buying salad! I don't care what isle they were in. It was only salad! Totally and utterly rude. She was married with 2 kids and she had keys.had to be older than she looked!
Always good, the range is limited however it is still satisfactory. I have never had a negative experience shopping at Aldi.
Really cool store tucked away in quiet Kalamunda. Always a good bargain to be had on random items. I wish I need a caravan step! Don't even have a caravan though.
The older blond haired checkout lady there is a bit of an angry sort, but apart from that service is OK
The blonde woman that serves is just abrupt. I have been in before and even saw her with other people like this. Does she own the store. I will go to Morley or Belmont from now on
The store itself is fine, just another Aldi. Although they are very keen to leave work on time here. 30 minutes before closing expect them to endlessly hit the button to trigger we are closing soon leave now. I've been there before where they hit that button every 60 seconds, yet there is me standing at the back of a long queue at the only open checkout with 20 minutes before the store closes.
The carpark though.my god what were they thinking? There are a handful of carparks that are on level ground, half of these are reserved for staff. The others, well good luck stopping your trolley rolling away while you load your car. It's just a carpark on a hill. If it's busy I intentionally limit how much I buy because getting it into the car is such an effort given you need to somehow hold the trolley whilst unloading.
I have three Aldi's the same distance from my home, one way or another I shop at all of them equally. This one is consistently the worst, in fact I don't have a single bad thing to say of the others.
We will never shop at Aldi Kalamunda again. Apart from the limited stock and a lot of advertised items always being out of stock they seem to have a racist policy towards checking handbags.
My wife always gets asked to open her handbag yet other (Caucasian) people at the checkout do not.
Simply not good enough in 2021. In fact it’s an insult. Would rather pay more elsewhere.
