ALDI Belmont reviews
42 Good store with wide aisles and a good range of household essentials.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Centre aisle has special buys.
Today at around lunchtime, we were checking out at register 3 and I put the checkout divider bar between our groceries and the man in front. As the cashier, a blonde woman in her 30's or 40's, was scanning the items of the man in front of us, she began to strike up a conversation with another staff member.
Being distracted and facing away, she put the divider bar away and started placing our groceries in the same spot as the man's groceries. I started reaching over for our groceries and she got confused, it turns out she charged the man for our groceries as well. She claimed that the groceries weren't separated, however, I distinctively remember putting the bar behind the man's items. At last, the cashier had to pull up a calculator on her phone so we paid the man with cash.
Next time, we hope that she'll focus on her customers more, not be distracted and admit her mistakes instead of blaming the customer. I enjoy shopping at Aldi, I hope this doesn't happen again on my next trip.
Went to aldi Belmont and they had self service checkout found them a fast and easy to use.
Good store with wide aisles and a good range of household essentials.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Love aldi and it's random weekly specials.you just never know what you don't need
The new self check-out is a joke, it stops working and when you press the help button I red light flashes a few times above you but nobody comes because ALDI will only have the bare minimum staff working at any time.
Coles and Woolies self check-outs work properly and they will always have a member of staff around to help. Hay ALDI, if you're not going to set it up properly like the competition have done, then don't even bother!
Aldi in Belmont has a great range of fruit, dairy and general merchandise. The specials really help me out as a single father of two allowing me to feed my family and save a little bit for something fun ;) I have been shopping here for a little over two years but Marcus who I believe is a new hire always gives me a warm welcome along with friendly customer service. If it wasn't for him I would be shopping at one of the competitors in the area. Great store and great staff!
It's aldi, if you've seen one the you've seen them all. The stock levels change a bit at Belmont, so some trips I don't get all I want. But no real complaints. They always seem to leave items up to the last of the use by date so check the dates. The milk selection is a joke, they don't restock milk until older stock is gone, so it's always close to the use by date.
I love Aldi not just for their Wednesday Saturday specials but they're cheap food, items like TV dinners, snacks, & pizzas. Also Aldi is the cheapest place to get flowers.
Best quality-price ratio in Australia.
The money you save on your weekly bill, compensate by a lot the points you're not collecting in Coles or Woolies.
It feels like you are being watched constantly.it is scarily spacious.i think there are monsters under the counter.
The sales on that day always sold fast try to be early but it's impossible and also it depends what suburbs you are. Price are very reasonable.
I like this Aldi as it coexist with coles and woolies so you can make a list for 3 stores and fill your trolley at one location
I still don't get the whole thing with aldi and them throwing my groceries at me at the checkout. Store is great tho
It only a small store limited products and lot of products I'm never heard of made overseas not Australian products.
Good products, value for money.
It's a pity Aussie stores can't provide the same value for money.
If they did they would find shoppers shopping at their stores more often instead of Aldi
This was my 2nd visit to ALDI, and again suitably impressed with the layout of the store, and the prices, which almost always beat out Coles & Woolworths. Unfortunately, and much to my chagrin, they didn't have the jug if maple syrup I was looking for. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.
I come here to get a few select items which I prefer in price and quality compared to Coles and Woolies but often they are out of stock.
The shop is not a big one but just have meet your basic needs. It covers from veggies, fruit, meat, dairy, coffee and tea, drinks, eggs, bread, ice cream, snacks to household items with also special on Wed and Sat. Reasonable prices.
It's an aldi. It looks like the other Aldi stores. It has staff rushing between checkouts and pretty cheap groceries like all the others.
I am always trying to find their coffee syrups, but they are usually out.
Their coffee beans are actually pretty good as well.
