74Had the best night New Year's Eve. The food was delicious and generous serves. The staff were outstanding. They were bright and happy and only to pleased to make our night fun. The entertainment was a hoot, also including the crowd. Fun night, great service and good food.
It's a good pub with a decent atmosphere, but i would not go here for exceptional food

Pretty good food, good sized meals at very reasonable prices. We had the Beef and Guinness pie, the Beef Ragu Parpardelle and the Kids Fish and Chips. Nice cosy atmosphere with friendly staff
Steak under cooked and very tough. Good to be able to get a side salad with the steak special. Overall disappointing meal tonight.
Had a fantastic meal for Fathers Day Dinner. The Staff were very friendly and the Service was exceptional. My Scotch steak was cooked to perfection and my friend's Grilled Fish was delicious. Will be back for more!

Somehow we always end up here, must be the convenient location. Pretty standard pub in a wonderful old building. Nothing special but always does the job with a reasonable menu and decent range of tap beers. Must have introduced QR table ordering since last visit but you can order at the counter, we did both. Beer garden is wanting as it is small and lacks any character but I doubt much can be done about that. I am sure we will visit again sometime in 2023.
I’ve waited 20 min for a beer. The skewers were nothing compared to the description and photos, came so dry and really bad in taste. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Food is okay, no table service anymore but easy to order through HQ code on table. Nice pub with a train you can sit in and kids play area. Two vegan options (burger and pad Thai).
We held a wake for a dear friend so sad time for us but the staff and manager were so amazing going above and beyond for i highly recommend this venue for any occasion totally amazing
Hubby and I visited from Adelaide Oct 2022. First night, Hubby was so impressed with his Chilli Prawns, we headed back the following night just so he could have them again! Big thanks to Solomon, his customer service was fantastic! He also recommended the Curry so Hubby had to get some as a takeaway, aswell as some Buffalo Wings and they were delish! All the food was fantastic! When back in Perth again, we will be back!

A rustic rabbit warren of rooms, tables and bar. Busy night with convenient ordering from your table. Pub food at modest prices.
Popped in for a couple of beers so cannot give a thorough review. However, the ambience and the olde worlde feel of the place certainly impressed. Staff were friendly. Shall have to return for a meal and linger longer.
Had a meeting in the boardroom. The room is big enough for about 20 people but the facilities weren’t tidy. There was noise coming from all directions and adults and kids accidentally entering the room throughout our meeting. Not the kind of place you really want to have a business meeting (IMO).
Also, a little tip for management: I think it would really help if there was some signage downstairs, as it wasn’t obvious where to go for the meeting.
Great hotel with decor and lots of interesting history. Excellent staff and the food was delicious. Definitely going back. It does lack a smoking area.
I had a mix up with my order and it was not well managed on the night. However the management has reached out to me and a satisfactory resolution has been reached. I would recommend the service of the management and the venue for a nice bristo vibe.
