Albany IGA reviews
54Does not look very appealing but it has a huge array of almost everything. Very well stocked with lots to choose from.
Honestly my favourite supermarket in albany. Been going there for years. Prices aren't always the cheapest but the service is good and the sales when they are on are outstanding.
Also got they rural supermarket cosiness that just makes it more welcoming.
Strange that supermarket was closed. But great to find IGA open. Great variety of things there.
Such a nice IGA, looks a bit different than other IGA's. They have a lot of products and even ready cooked meals which is awesome.
They're doing a great job at doing their best to keep us all safe in these times of covid. Plus they always sell the freshest of the fresh produce and prices are good
-Traditional style country IGA
-Great variety
-Large store
-Good specials
-Friendly staff
-Sells plant based milo
During Covid, I have found IGA York Street, surpasses Coles and Woolworths in every aspect. Well done if you go Local
Very decently stocked with all essentials, i was happy to see lot of cheese varieties. Open till 9pm which makes life easier for locals & tourists. There is a smoke shop in side IGA as you enter which is added advantage for smokers or vapers.
Owned by same guy who owns Spencer Park IGA.
Only a marginal leap in quality. Not worth it imo. Also too crowded from people too lazy to drive further than a minute commute from town.
I liked the staff wearing Easter masks:)
Also we bought some takeaway food, panini and salad for our hikes, they tasted great!
Always full of yummy take-home meals, made fresh! Their Lasagne is made the old-fashioned Authentic Italian way and i was surprised how delightful it was. Prices could be a little better. But for an early open, late closing Shop its good!
I always shop here, and have always had good service up until today, i was served by a lady who looked like she really didnt want to be there, she was rude and didnt smile, i asked for a bag in the end and she just looked at me and grunted, no need for the attutude.
One visit but two experiences of service. One excellent and the other indifferent and slack. Thank you to Steven working in the aisles who greeted me with genuine enthusiasm as a customer and took me to the shelf to point out the item I was looking for. No thanks to the woman (Mary Ann on the docket) at the checkout who looked bored and totally uninterested in serving customers cheerfully or in a pleasant manner. Wasn't impressed when I asked for a receipt with a look that conveyed annoyance before she provided it reluctantly and without eye contact! Find a job where you don't have to deal with customers would be my advice to this person!
Easy parking wheelchair access great range of facilities to look for choices to shopping and buying things you need and make your happy shopping
Till today 7: 15pm I used to think it was a wonderful shop with varieties of goods. But today at 7: 15pm one of the worst racist act was performed by one of the staffs by spray on my back due to wearing mask which was the state government instruction to tourist. Worst customer service people recruited by the authority. Get well soon before it gets worst.
Great range of products. Bought ready made meals there today. Very very nice. Can recommend. Also they have a hot bar there too. Again, would recommend. Veggie options too.
Great independent supermarket. Odd setup but great selection of European goods. Nice staff as expected in happy Albany
Can always get the obscure there, but the store is a maze and it's hard to find anything. They do have lovely ready made food available for takeaway, but because of my multiple food allergies, I've never been able to try it.looks delicious though. They have a fair amount of gluten/ dairy free products available.
Yeah dardy food always ciggie buts outside for good smoke and plenty of people to ask for money my fav hangout spot cuzz
The York st IGA is a grand little hub.
The staff always ready to help with what ever you need.
The hot food section always makes my mouth water.
