Albany Fish & Chips

Had the shark and whiting and chips. Not bad, not the best we have had. Service was great however, thanks.

The best fish and chips we have had in 40 years. As Country Victorians we could not believe the fresh best tasting food ever and what a great owner and staff. Chris and Berni.

As soon as I walked in the door their was someone ready to serv with a smile.
The food is perfectly priced for family feasts.
Fish was done to perfection.
Cant say enuff about the food.
What leftovers I had was even better for lunch.

Fresh and tasty, flat head was cooked perfectly but only a battered option. The chips were small cut but crunchy and not oily. Friendly and courteous hardworking staff. Great location and open most days. Good value for money here.

Well cooked, not too greasy. Friendly service. Clean establishment. More salt would have been nice and this is certainly not $10 worth of chips. Will return to try other things.

I love the experience of ordering here. While there was a bit of a wait before I recieved my food, it was fun sitting and watching the hard working staff preparing the food. It was clear just from a few moments of watching that these ladies and gents know what they're doing. Watching them working together so quickly and efficiently was like watching a dance. The premises are clean and presentable, and I loved noticing the enjo logo sticker on the paper dispenser at the back.

The servings were massive. Twice what I was expecting. Went on a Tuesday when the other f&C shops were closed and didn't regret it. There can be a wait if you come during holidays so best to call in your order.

Ordered $20 got maybe $10 need to go and visit swannies in middle swan Perth to see how chips are really cooked

Pretty disappointed considering they have a 4.5 star rating. $43 worth, what a laugh. Paid for scallops and got squid rings, asked for salt and got none, asked for extra lemon and got one piece and the potato fritters were not cooked properly and still crunchy on the inside like a raw potato. The premium snapper was like leather. I'm not sure what to make of three 4.5 star rating. Friends of the owners or relatives maybe? I'm not sure at all. Plenty of room for improvement for the business to get to even 3 stars in my opinion. I couldn't post this without giving them one star minimum.

We went here wanting to try fish and chips. It was one of the best we have tasted. Fast service, very friendly. We also chat with the chef and got to know they were from birmingham. Proud to see an aston villa fan too. 5 star, will definitely come again.

Take-out only. Had grilled fish & chips, both were great - done to our liking and not greasy.

We’ve never had such greasy fish and dim sims ever. The grease had soaked through the paper by the time we got back to the motel. Lucky the chips were edible

The fish and chips are decent for that price but I find the fish slice a bit thin and quite hard to eat with your hands.

Absolutely the best fish and chips I have ever had in 38 years in WA! And being a pom, I have tried them all! Well recommended.

We are from ‘over east’ and we had fish n chips last night in town… which was very nice but a bit expensive. We tried here for lunch today, and it was delicious! The shark/flake was so juicy and much cheaper than where we ate the night before.
I’ll be back! Yum. Crab sticks were yummy too.

Snapper was amazing, unfortunately chips were a little over cooked for our liking.
Staff were friendly and place very popular.

Ordered a fishermans basket and not only was it way overcooked, they forgot to put the salt and vinegar on

Imagine the worst driest chips of your life but fluoro yellow. I placed a large order for 8 people and ALL of us left the chips. Pieces of cardboard. The fish was nice but since the chips are half the meal it was ruined. Would never go back here.
