Al Pastor Taqueria and Tequila Bar

We were with my best friend last week for the first time in this place. We liked it as soon as we arrived, the decoration and the atmosphere bear its name well. The entire staff was friendly and attentive to our order. The Colombian chef was very good with the dishes we ordered and a wonderful flavor

We have been here a few times and the food is always incredible, consistent and well priced.

We have held a few birthdays here and it’s a great option as you can also grab food from other places in sunshine harvest. It truly caters to everyone.

The margaritas are epic and the service is always impeccable.

We had my partners birthday here last week and the owner (?) was such a great part of the night. His hospitality, conversation, and preparedness for our group really added to the night.

Chicken burrito was below average, but a pint of draft CPA was 17.50.is there anywhere in Perth that will rip you off more than that for a pint?

As a Mexican I can say that the first time that I tried this place was really good. Not real Mexican of course but quite close! Sadly, last time we attended the "al pastor" tacos were not as good, nothing compared to the real ones or this place's original recipe. They should now just be called pork tacos because that's not al pastor anymore. They also got rid of the flaming hot corn. Not a bad place to have a closer look to what Mexican food is but definitely not the best.

Love the ambience of this place. Very rustic and feels like a very different environment when you walk into the place.

The staff are wonderful and friendly. The food came out pretty fast and their kitchen is quite tiny for what they can produce.

The food looks so drool worthy and pretty. The taste is pretty ok as well.

Oh man, love a salty margy and they had just what I wanted. The salty rim was probably the best one I've tasted.ever! AJ's service and bright mood made us feel so welcome. Atmosphere was so fun, the decor was cool as! My partner and I demolished their delicious tacos too. If you're ever in Freo, go there!

Was recommended by a perth food group on Facebook and was not disappointed at all, very chill and homey type of atmosphere, the staff are very approachable and helping, the food came quick and was delicious. Well worth the trip here:)

Great service. Had an issue with my meal and a lovely redhead server was super helpful, fixed the issue immediately and made our night great. She deserves a raise! Delicious food as well.

Don’t recommend for food at all,
Paid $84 for small portions and dry meat.
Avoid if can, was really looking forward to eating here very disappointed. $18 for 4 90mm chicken tacos and $24 for 4 fish tacos which were 90mm size as well. Lacked in flavour.

8x tiny tacos
Half loaded nachos
Mocktail and a corona.

Waited 45 mins for some nachos. We had to ask 3 times where they were, to which the response was ‘they’re coming’ the guy was more interested in dancing around rather than resolving the issue. No apology or explanation as to why everybody else was receiving food before ours. Poor service

Had a slight issue with the online ordering and Damien rectified the issue swiftly and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Great food and superb service

I'm not gonna knock the staff or the venue- they were awesome and it was a great vibe. And as a Mexican from Texas I walked in ready to be disappointed, and I was. Al pastor street tacos broke my heart- dry as and the tortilla tasted like yesterday. The Mexican street corn was about as mexican as Tony Abbott. Overall portion was decent. Only reason for three stars was the killer drinks and good staff.

Will I be back? Idk.will Texas seceed?

Loved this place. Quality of food is excellent and authentic. There is also a great vibe with the bar and the other eateries in the area. Family and I will be back! Yum!
