I visited on 11th of Nov 2023 with my sister and her children. I ordered Tom Yum Fried Rice. It was good but for the owner maybe you can add a slice of lime. I did not really taste the sourness (mayb tom yum paste used in the rice not too strong I don't know). My sister ate Nasi Kerabu and no offense, we thought Nasi Kerabu in Coventry Village is a little bit better. My suggestion maybe owner could add more vegetables (ulam). But 1 thing I like is the Nasi Kerabu has salted egg which we didn't get in Coventry Village so that is a plus point. My nieces ordered roti canai but I think it is just a frozen one so don't expect too much.

I got nasi lemak with beef rendang and several kueh/dessert options. Soo far only tried one kueh but can report it is highly recommended and very delicious. Please keep stocking kueh and I will return.

Affordable catering services. For those doesn’t know yet they provide the catering services as well. I order soto ayam & pisang goreng for 30 pax which are not in their menu but they still can cook the food according to my request. And of course we love the taste of food.

Halal food, and their satay sticks are amazing one of the best in Perth. I had the chicken satay and the meat was tender and cooked perfectly. Authentic Malay cuisine. Located inside of Malaga markets.

This place is just 12 mins away from our office. We came here a few times for quick and simple Malay dishes. My favourites are roasted chicken rice, nasi goreng kampung, nasi kerabu, satay, ketumpat and Malay kueh.

Pathetic. Slower than a wet Sunday. I could import the ingredients faster than they can serve it. Never coming back.

Friday lunch time very popular. Not a long wait time tho and very friendly staff. $13.90 for Nasi Lemak Rendang (beef not spicey yippee, sambal on the side) good value. The coconut/ mung bean desserts (5.50 per 3) taste fresh and soft which is hard to find.

Tastes just like home. Simply the best mee goreng in Perth, and the bakso is also delicious. Looking forward to trying other menu items but it’s so hard not to order the mee goreng again!

First time trying this. Nasi kerabu and teh tarik was not bad. Otak-otak is the worst I ever tried. Taste nothing like otak-otak. The fish paste is very pale in colour and was tasteless. Might try something else next time but never again with the otak-otak unless recipe change.

Just finished a set meal combo of chicken curry, rice, acar and sambal. They weren't kidding when they said the sambal was hot! Tasty, generous serve. You know a place is good when you see one of the team from Cafe Karachi by Sani and friends tucking into the dishes. Look forward to trying the Assam Laksa next time.

Made my order of two sets of Roti Canai and waited over half an hour before the Wait Staff came to our table to confirm our order only to be told it was in the takeaway line. We got given one set then waited another 10 minutes before asked for our money back. Poor service and little customer care. Won't be eating there again.

This review is limited to the "teh tarek experience" and seevice relating to its purchase. The teh tarek was definitely above average - 9 out of 10 on that scale (and hot when it reached the table - the way I like it), the service friendly and waiting time very accepatable. Was tempted to try one of the packets of boxed kuihs. However decided against it on this ocassion - I think it was slightly on the expensive side for Perth standards ($6 a pack instead of the common $5 per box price) and a tad less content-wise. Not to say that i would never try it but on this ocassion decided against it. Will certainly want to try more of the "substantial" food items in future. Please don't take any part if this review negatively. I see this place as one where there is a genuine attempt to deliver a good product and good service and wish them all the best.
