Aegis Ascot reviews
11My dad thrived in the short time he has been here. All the staff are absolutely lovely and vary caring towards the residents.
Our Mum has just spent the past nearly 4 months here at Aegis Bayswater. The staff have been so kind and helpful. We appreciate all the care that they given Mum. Great job Aegis.
Years ago, my dear mum was at Aegis Ascot as a Transitional home. One of the carers, Veronica, was complained about by many of the residents, for various reasons. When Veronica and another carer was transferring mum to her bed via a hoist, she swung mum around like a sack of potatoes, the look of terror on mum's face was heart breaking. Complained to the manager about Veronica, for some other infringment, her reply was, "Oh, that's Veronica", like it was expected from her and was accepted behaviour. The day mum was moving out, I had great pleasure in saying to Veronica, "Thank you for making mum's stay here as unpleasant as it could be". I laughed afterwards because she cracked this huge smile, when I started off talking, then when she and the other carer standing nearby, heard the rest of what I said, their smiles soon disappeared.
Highly recommended, we can’t fault the care given to our Mother.
Nursing staff, OT’s and Physio’s were excellent.
I cant speak high enough of the care and the attention Suezie and all the nurses and staff gave my dear old mum (Lillian). Thank you all so very much. Jim and Raylene.
Recently renovated, aegis Ascot is clean and neat, and the outdoor social space with a gazebo has a calming view out over the river. The staff are friendly and approachable and take pride in their appearance and their surroundings. Their dedication to giving care to those that need it is noticed and appreciated.
Dreadful Place I saw people people swaddled to keep them in Bed. I saw beds unmade in the morning that were still unmade in the afternoon. Only constant attendance will keep your loved one safe.
DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE They treat their patients very poorley. I think they will be shutdown soon, there is no way they can stay open. My grandmothers health drastically declined the moment she went into Agis Ascot and drastically improved the moment she left. They lost my grandmother, left her in the toilet unaided for over an hour and she needs assistance to walk. They would not change her pads they ration them to 3 a day and need them to be fully soaked before they will change them, they have skeleton staff on the weekends, when we complained and said she needs to go to a hospital The manager said "I dont care what you do with her" The people in management here should not be working with elderley vulnerable people.
Staff were great nan has had the best care and treatment here! As far as homes go we were very happy with all the staff and therapists.thank you!
This place is horrifying my grandmother was left with no water for hours and her nurse buzzer hidden from her
Thankfully my grandmother left this terrible place today. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The worst staff we have every experienced in Perth. The only professional was the physiotherapist the other staff seem annoyed if you ask for advice or help.
