AMAZING! I am so glad I have found these guys, it’s my go-to dry cleaner now! It’s not only that they are super knowledgeable and have a lot of experience, they also have such a great customer service: Super friendly, patient to answer all my questions and incredibly helpful and kind! And on top of that very fair, affordable pricing - really too good to be true!

So here’s the experience that made me a fan: They have gone out of their way to save my one and only favourite cocktail dress that I wear to pretty much every wedding I am invited to. I thought I messed it up at a wedding where I got a lot of alcohol stains on it. After the normal dry cleaning couldn’t remove all the stains, they saw my desperation and brainstormed with me different options I had to save the dress. Super super patiently they answered all the questions I had! Finally, I decided I wanted to try and dye the dress myself (as sending it to a dyeing service on the east coast would have been super expensive and time consuming and no guarantee). Problem was that I had never dyed anything before and that my dress is synthetic, very delicate material, which makes it quite a complicated process to do by yourself at home. Not only did they explain how to dye clothes, where to buy the Color, what to watch out for etc… in the end they even offered to do the dying for me if I got stuck or didn’t feel confident to do it. Note: Dyeing is not even one of their services, they just offered it to help me out as they saw that I was overwhelmed with the process (I didn’t have that much time and I was afraid I would stain my kitchen/bathroom/balcony/floor in my rental apartment in the process). I was sure if this dress could be fixed by dyeing they would do a better job than me. So at Spotlight, based on their recommendation, I bought what I thought would be the right Color and brought it to them. As the next wedding was just around the corner, they finished it after a few days and when I picked it up, the dress looked better than new, you could only see a tiny stain looking super closely but if you didn’t know you wouldn’t see it. And it was pretty much exactly the same Color as before, I am still not sure how exactly they did it (they weren’t there when I picked it up)! But, I saw a screenshot of a Spotlight online purchase of another dying Color - maybe they realised that the Color I bought wasn’t ideal and bought the right one themselves! Wow, I mean how awesome is that! Plus, for all of that I only paid 20 bucks! Still can’t believe it. Will be back for sure.

Fantastic customer service! I needed to leave on a business trip on short notice. My only suit needed to be cleaned and pressed before I left. It also needed to be shortened a bit but I didn’t have any hope of getting it done before I left. When I asked Debbie she said no problem. She quickly pinned it and said it would be ready next day.

These guys are so good. I walk in and they know my name and immediately grab my dry cleaning. Incredible in this day. Always on time and even did a intra day turn around on a shirt for a black tie event. Only used them for dry cleaning which is not listed here.

I would recommend Ad Astra to everyone! The dry cleaning service they provide is second to none. More importantly though, Joel and his team have integrity. I accidently left valuable jewellery in a pocket of one of the jackets they dry cleaned. The rings had fallen out of the pocket during the cleaning process. They found them and returned them to me ASAP. A wonderful team of people. Thank you Mel and Joel.

We moved to Floreat in June, I’m bad at ironing so I was keen to find a new dry cleaning / laundry service. Not only are the staff at Ad Astra friendly and efficient, they go out of their way to be helpful. I “needed” a skirt altered before a long weekend, they did a quick turnaround so it was ready on time. My husband’s shirts are always returned in a timely manner washed, ironed and starched, they looked better than new (now folding creases!)

I've tried this dry cleaners twice, once for dry-cleaning and once for laundry. Both times the result wasn't great; the first time, 6 months ago, the remedial action did not resolve the issue and I must admit, the second time I did not seek to resolve the issue, having already had a poor experience.
That said, the management has been in contact since this time to attempt to remedy the problems met. I hope to try their services in future and see an improvement.
