ACTON Strata

My personal advice based on experience of owning a property where Acton was the strata manager of the complex for several years - avoid, avoid, avoid. You will regret it.

Absolutely useless. Unresponsive to emails and phone calls. I have been chasing documents over the last month and still have not received anything. Would not recommend!

We had Yvonne as a strata manager for long period. I don't visit my investment property often because I thought I can trust my strata manager to look after the strata.
I was wrong. The conditions of the strata was terrible, huge amount of bird drops at the entrance door, it was also blocking the drains, No controls were implemanted, No minutes organized for more than 18 month, hard to reach, no reply to calls or emails.
They only charge decent amount to manage the strata for nothing!
Very disappointed with Acton. They have big name but only do little.
I don't recommend them for strata management.

Happy to take payments on time, but their communication when you need something is very poor. I can now see and understand why their reviews are so low.

They also appeared to not have paid the insurance and only when i asked them for proof that it was insured did they sort it out a week later.

Run, don't walk! Absolute shambles. Some of the staff are great, but the strata managers themselves are terrible! Rude, inactive, and non-responsive

I am an owner of a strata-titled unit in a large apartment complex (100 units). We engaged Yvonne and Acton Strata to manage our complex back in 2015. This large, old complex has complicated issues and has had significant works projects successfully carried out in the years since Acton Strata were engaged. Due to their effective and strategic management, no additional levies have had to be raised to complete works, and regular levies have not increased over this time. Yvonne has always had time for my queries, and any issues have always been attended to in a timely manner.

I would like to thank Yvonne and her team for all their hard work - you have always been a pleasure to deal with. For highly experienced, attentive and capable strata managers, I highly recommend Acton Strata!

Over the past 2 years our complex has had Acton as our Strata Managers. I have found them to be the poorest I've ever had in over 25 years. They are unreliable, manipulative and untrustworthy and don't listen to their clients wishes
