Ace Tutoring reviews
35Admin lagging with billing process though since matter brought to their attention its ok now. Tutor making decisions about changing Tuition sessions without notifying Ace first I got to say was a bit off putting.
Thank you Xavier you help and have helped us so much!
Amazing/reliable/on time / excellent results/ fantastic person.
We have been very impressed with the quality of tutoring from Oliver and would be happy to recommend Ace to all our friends and family.
Good service, and it will help you with all your subjects from year 1 to year 12 would recomend if your struggling and want to push your grades up: 0
My son really enjoys his classes with Amanda. Is English results have greatly improved. We look forward to continuing with Amanda during year 12.
I have flourished in school after joining Ace Tutoring. The tutors understand the students' point of view and encourage you to achieve your full potential.
Learnt how to study effectively and efficiently. Great resources and inclusive learning, Amanda was always on task ready to help making sure we didn’t get off task.
I learnt how to answer the English exam paper, specifically section 1, at a much higher level and received personal tips on what to do.
I would recommend Ace Tutoring as they were very friendly and professional. We had to reschedule a few times and Ace was always happy to do that. Chris was an excellent tutor and always so patient with the boys. It was a positive experience for both the parents and children.
I learnt how to properly manage my time as well as create a timetable for myself
I leant that I need to keep studying for 2 hours a night not stopping when I’ve finished the homework, to properly manage my time so I have something to stick to and to always stay one chapter ahead
I liked that it was straight forward tips and tricks which were made easier to understand
The tutors performance was great she helped a lot and I know I will improve this year
All the tips and tricks helped a lot, and I'm very grateful for all the one on one and group exercises with Amanda over the months. It was exactly what I was looking for at the start of year 12, as my school hadn't given a lot of clarity and I was very unsteady with my English marks. Amanda said it how it was and that kind of learning helped me so much and I quickly gained a lot of confidence in the subject and in myself to succeed. Something that helped me in class and outside of class. She helped me regain my English confidence and start getting steady marks again, that slowly kept on rising.
Besides English itself, Amanda helped me learn a lot about empathy and just the raw state of the world around us, which has helped me develop a more well rounded outlook on what is happening in parts of the world we don't always hear about. Again, helping me move forward in the next few years away from school. I'm very grateful for that:) the tough conversations were always worthwhile.
It was also the opportunity to make some friends and enjoy the time as well. It came a competitive and very fun environment, great to learn in:)
It was very helpful to learn new techniques to study, take notes and prepare yourself for upcoming exams and tests. After participating in the course I will make sure to have two books for maths (one for what examples and notes and one for what I don’t know), play games and tell story’s to help study as well as taking short hand notes for all subjects. I liked the course as it was very engaging and adaptable to what I will be learning at my level. My tutor was very encouraging and confident in my ability which helped boost my self confidence when it comes to study preparation for tests and exams.
I participated in both the Study Skills and the Advanced Study Skills and they were both beneficial to me. They helped improve the amount of time I was taking in writing notes and more ways to study such as active recall.
Because of the things I have learnt in this course I can now study more efficiently and retain information better to achieve higher results
Thank you ace!
This course is very helpful. I’ve learned multiple effective ways to study which have improved my grades exceptionally. It is a fun learning experience and would definitely recommend
Moving our son (low grade year 12 student) to Ace Tutoring was the best decision we ever made. We only wish we had made it two years ago instead of wasting time and money elsewhere. His English teacher has noticed a remarkable improvement in his work, and our son is more confident in himself when handing in assignments.
Many thanks to Amanda and the team at Ace!
I attended a study skills course for Years 10-12. It taught me lots of things which I'd never been taught at school like stress management techniques, how to manage study timetabling and even how to improve my marks based on subject specific skills. I really loved meeting other people in the course and getting to learn valuable skills which I can put into place for the rest of my academic journey.
Very useful study techniques that helped a lot throughout year 10 boosting my school score making me capable of being accepted into ATAR.
Great experience for our son! High quality tutors with a friendly and kind approach, and the results prove it! A great end to highschool.
This course was very helpful and i learnt lots of techniques on note taking and how to study efficiently. The tutor I had was very nice, helpful and taught me alot.
Thanks.
The tutor Triyan was very helpful and helped me figure out better time management and good habits to help with studying
