Ace Radio Controlled Models reviews
44Awesome bunch of blokes and very knowledgeable, got set up with a better esc because they were able to let me know that the issue I was having was my esc on my brushless drift car setup. The bloke I was speaking to had heaps of info and helped out greatly
Massive stockholding excellent assistance
It was a tremendous experience for me
Without doubt
Not very happy with the service. Was quoted for $80 to tune up my nitro rc. They did not call back when there were issues with the engine, and kept attempting to repair the car without confirmation by me. In the end they charged me $96 for the extra work and left me with a car that wasn’t able to run.
This shop know how to mine gold!
VERY RUDE!
CLOSE DOWN IF YOU CAN’T PROVIDE HONEST SERVICE!
HE IS CHARGING YOU FOR HIS INCOMPETENT LOST!
AMATURE!
Awesome place, love going there with my old man, always has heaps of stock representing all the modelling hobbies.
I like this shop unfortunately his stock of aeroplanes is limited at this time due to covid as is every shop in Perth.
My father and I always received top class service and parts for my 1/8 scale Death-Adder buggy in the late 80s through to the late 90s interstate from over 2,500 km away.fast forward 15yrs, my partner and I were living in Midland two blocks away from the store, and I was still running the Death-Adder strong.
After almost 30yrs of running the Death-Adder hard, I took the opportunity to get the same fantastic service I had always receive for many years from Scott and staff.
As always he spent alot of time and patience in helping me go through all the parts necessary to complete a full restoration, in which I purchased 90% of all the parts to complete a full rebuild. From the wheels, to the chassis, to bearings, to the servo box, to the cage and all the bits inbetween, I had everything boxed up for a complete rebuild. 9yrs later I can happily say that day has come, can hardly wait until it's completely restored soon.
Thankyou Ace Radio Controlled.
Cheers!
If there is anything you want to know about RC models, or anything you need for your model this is the place to come. The guys there are so knowledgeable and the store is jammed with goodies and parts.
Navigating your way around the store is an art in its self, the place is back to the rafters an in a good way. Helpful staff that are happy to let ya browse.
It's packed with so much stuff. I love browsing in there, despite the sometimes grumpy looks from the owner. The owner is, despite the looks, is a really nice and helpful guy for whom nothing is too much trouble, even though one can tell from the body posture he would really rather tell you to go forth and multiply rather than find that 50cent part you need.anyhoo, this place is well worth a visit, and I can guarantee if you are any sort of modeller you will end up being hooked on this store. It really is magnificent.long may it be here.
Great customer service. Very helpful and of course nice and great bloke Scotty. I very highly recommend this store.
Stocked to the max, friendly owner only suggestion is to put larger price tags on the Glow models so they can be read:)
This place is stocked to the roof with things. I just wanted a kite. There is so much stuff in this place you will have to see for yourself. Plan to spend 1 hour there.
Great model shop. Scot (The owner) is extremely knowledgeable. Bit of an Aladdins cave of Male happiness.
Great amount of stock bit light on in model aircraft kits though. Awesome if you want to scratch build Aussie trucks! They have a lot of r/c gear and a workshop for repairs. Good staff
These guys have got a great selection of what ever you need to scratch build. 1 stop shop.
Thanks.
I do not recommend buying anything from here I delt with one bloke who did not know anything about the RC car I was trying to buy and then another who was as arrogant as all hell STAY AWAY
I recommend you stay away from this shop I tried buying a rc car for my boy for Xmas I was treated so disrespectfully so I left and got one else where for $50 cheaper then they were charging
I've know Scott for many years at Ace RC, He is a top bloke with excellent service and has a fantastic and wide knowledge base
Absolutely rude and unprofessional, I suggest buying online instead that way you won't have to deal with their appalling customer service!
Probably Perth's best equipped hobby shop when it comes to, Bajas, Tamiya trucks and multirotor aircraft.
