Had such a good time this morning riding around the Swan River. We hired the ebikes for an hour as I haven't been bike riding for decades and it showed, was a bit wobbly to begin with I pushed off and almost ended up back in the hire place! I can highly recommend, the guys are so friendly (even joking about putting training wheels on for me), great price and they're so easy to ride. I'll definitely be back again, we'll hire them for longer next time. So glad my friend talked me into it. I loved it, such a fun time. Excellent.

These guys are the best!

I rented a carbon bike from them for 12 days and they provided what I needed including a spare tube, allen keys, and even helmets if I needed for the rental price. The Merida Scultura 400 was well tuned for a well used rental bike.

And when I had trouble returning by their close time because of bad traffic, they were very gracious to allow me to return the next morning without any additional charges or penalty.

When I come back to Perth again and need a bike to rent, I will definitely get it from About Bike Hire.

What a great bunch of folk and such a useful service. We hired out a couple of bikes and a trailer for the day to bike around Swan river and visit a few of the kids playgrounds.

Their pricing is really affordable and the equipment is in good shape (the E-bikes must have been near new).

Again, really cool little outfit and such a great way to enjoy some of the sights in and around Perth

Cheaper than ANYWHERE else! Luved it! Was fun and great exercise, and even though I have a spinal injury it was well within my physical scope. The guys running this place are awesome, so helpful and friendly! I took my girls and only paid $48 total for 3 ppl to hire a Kayak each for an hour. No pain the next day except for sun burnt badly (my bad!) Strongly advise to Sunscreen up ️

What a fun thing to do along the Swan River! Pedal buggy was great for older people who aren't confident on bicycles or e-scooters. Helpful and friendly staff, pricing was good, and allowed us to roll over time if we returned late, at the hour cost. Thanks!

Some of the best customer service I’ve seen. Not sure what the guys name was, should’ve asked, however the Asian bloke was fantastic.
Hired 2 e-scooters, they battery lasted a ages, we rode them till almost cottlesloe (the beach), about 20km back and forth and we still has battery left. I accidentally damaged the e-scooter and he was fair and quick with how much I paid for its repair.
Definitely recommend.

If you need a no-nonsense, excellent value & service, hybrid hire bike then look no further than About Bike Hire. The team there will quickly sort you out with a bike and the accessories you need to get out and ride. We had bikes for 10 days and did nearly 400km exploring the many traffic routes in and around Perth WA. They were perfect for the Upper Swan River Vineyards, Freemantle and Cottesloe. When we return we will have no hesitation in using their bikes again. 10/10

Unfair rules and horrible service. Unclean shed, not fit for customers. I don’t recommend! Terrible service, they were rude and unfair!

Very good service here and nice bikes, if you are looking for a cycling day out, but don't want to bring your own bike this is an excellent option.

You need to book several days beforehand by calling them up and giving them your credit card details over the phone. This is not mentioned on their website. We learnt this after getting turned away and told to come back next week.
