Spoke to some "random" won't allow me to attend group without a yes from Edwards or Chapman. These two unethical doctors guinea pigged me for 20 years. Murry gave illegal advice whilst turning his recording device and asking me to turn off mine. John brain damaged me so bad I no longer have a normal life, he has no ears so won't listen or pocket his hubris.
The lady on the phone is a liar. Disgusting business model. I hope your children experience every ounce of pain you caused me.

When visiting the ward the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable, the service was the best ive ever experienced, and has benefitted me greatly with my addiction journey.

Would highly recommend to anyone!

Abbotsford has kept me alive these past 11 years. The nurses, the doctors, the patients, the therapy, the private bed rooms, the help they have given me over the years has been sensational. Most recently I thank Abbotsford the most for helping me fight to get this hip replacement. You got me thru the pain. You never gave up on me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart ️?

Been trying to book an appointment and have just had silence after initial contact. Sent a follow up email but still have heard nothing. Pretty poor service in my opinion.

My psychiatrist was like a cold robot, he has no personal skills and doesn't listen when you talk to him. The staff are for the most part nice, but I had one staff member judging me for having a conversation with her and she was sneering at me because she knew the mental health problem I faced.

Learn to treat your patients like humans and get staff that understand and respect people with mental health problems and that are actually friendly.

You have a long way to go, kindness and understanding cost nothing for decent people.

Originally when I first went, this place was run by monkeys, rude, uninterested, cold staff & some of the patients weren’t medicated properly as I found myself being attacked verbally and on one occasion physically by someone who was suffering very badly, however I shouldn’t nor should anyone have to put up with that. Everyone should feel safe.

The last time I was there was in April 2021. New staff, and best of the old. Unfortunately depending why your going there, it is very much drug detox oriented, particularly meth. Some other hospitals I’ve been to do everything, by which I mean, eating disorders, general mental health (bi-poker etc) …such as the Marian, Hollywood…don’t get me wrong, a third or more all suffer primarily mental health issues that aren’t all DAO effected.

Their groups are fairly standard but “ mostly” run well by professionals. Foods good as long as you’re not there for more than a month. I would like to thank the staff who helped me, the new-ish system you have put in place works, kind regards Zacho

So far dealing with this clinic has been awful the reception staff are unfriendly and rude. The dr lacked people skills.

A family member was admitted here for a month for a sleep disorder however doctors refused to acknowledge the condition as the reason for VOLUNTARY admittance (discharge summary cites conditions 'treated' which were already well controlled, whereas no mention of the actual reason for admission). They DO NOT listen to patients OR their family. If you are admitted here, you'd do well to surrender your dignity because the staff will treat you as if you have none. Many nurses and doctors are very dismissive and rude. They also dispose of a patients OWN SUPPLY of medicines even if they haven't been used by the hospital OR opened - high level of negligence considering this may cause patients to be unmedicated upon discharge. Additionally, urgent referrals are not treated as urgent and multiple follow ups are required for any action to be taken.

Myself and my family member feel extremely unhappy with her treatment and will be making a formal complaint to the hospital. However judging by how disorganised and dismissive this place is, I will not be surprised if the complaint 'goes missing' or is completely disregarded.

Please do not go to this establishment - they don't care about you.

My safe place is always this hospital. Best home cooking & excellent staff members. Doctors & nurses included.
I have been waiting for about 12 weeks for a response from Doctor Chapman regarding my referral, I've been a patient since 2010 under several different doctors & never waited for so long. I need treatment urgently.

I'm editing this review once again, when I get my questions answered then I will cease this topic. Please, can you give me the exact details for your decision addressed to me in writing a short time ago? I'm quite baffled. Can somebody please answer my question?

I just called this place to reschedule as I’m coming down with a flu but the receptionist said that I would be charged $285 but if I come in with a mask, I would be ok. Doesn’t that go against everything the government has been telling us to do? I’m not about to just give them $285 (and that’s just half the consult fee) so I have no option but to do as they have requested and wear a mask to my consult. And no I wasn’t cancelling for the sake of it, I’ve woken up with a sore throat and almost no voice. But I will make my way there with a mask as they have requested.

Reception staff are incredibly rude and incompetent. In my time here they have emailed me someone else's private confidential documents and failed to report the data breach or ensure that I removed the person's documents from my computer, as well as incorrectly record my own personal details resulting in them telling me that I wasn't a patient there each time I called up.

Top class establishment with all needs met.
Staff are knowledgeable, caring & compassionate.
If you have appropriate private health insurance costs are minimal.

Nikki the nurse is awesome if she's otherwise no one really cares it's just a business in the end. Go round in circles in groups that basically hold you in addiction. Place to go if you want to be proud of yourself and here that a boy from careless people

I have been a patient Hollywood clinic, the Marian Caentre & unfortunately Abbortsford clinic, so am fully aware how they (should) run. In my time as a patient in mental health hospitals, suffering from anxiety and alcohol addiction, i can say without a doubt Abbortsford is ABYSMAL!

More than half of the nursing staff are rude, disrespectful and one broke a code of conduct being confidentiality. The nurses I speak of show little to none empathy or interest in myself, wellbeing and on the odd occasion it’s insincere and just because they have to. They argue amongst themselves and one nurse complained to me twice in one day about her cold and how she wanted to go home, she forgot to ask me how I was doing.

The groups run are average at best, mistakes with my medication were made 3 times.it is very small and confined withonly your room or a very small area outside to have some alone time, as opposed to the other hospitals Imparticular the Marian. Patients often are having drugs dropped of to them and one evening before they locked the doors, a patient was smoking a joint.

This is not a place to get well, or have respite with all the arguing (amongst staff but also patients with patients).

Be very aware before choosing this hospital. I don’t just speak for myself but at least 4 other patients whom were present during my stay.

The Marian centre, Hollywood clinic are tremendous hospitals,

Best of luck, with your recovery, but make sure you give yourself the best chance by picking a good hospital, warm regards,

Not a good experience at all. Badly run practice. Can never get through on the phone. Told very little info about itqthe visit. Processed in a cold way. Fealt as if the clinic was more focussed on churning you through for the money.
