88 Noodle Bar reviews
56 This is where I normally go for food before I hit the roulette table. It’s just convenient as 88 Noodle Bar is nested inside the Perth Crown Casino. You can see people in the casino from this place and likewise.
Good selection of food in the menu. Good potion, flavour and taste too. Their char kway teow is the best.
Service was efficient. Friendly staffs.
The quality has dropped since Noodle 88 first opened on the casino floor, prior to the renaming of Burswood to Crown. Their desserts are better than the mains.
Went today for a special birthday with family and friends some from overseas. We contacted the restaurant the day before to see if we could bring a cake we were told it was fine. On arrival today we were told no to the cake and we were not allowed to order and pay for our meals individually such a disappointment. We went to another restaurant in the Casino no issues with the cake & no issues with paying individually food was amazing and friendly staff.
Have to say the noodles here CMI.
Ordered the Fried Kway Teow and the PadThai.
What made up for the lack of flavour and the wokhei is the fresh ingredients.
As for the padthai, it was soggy and wet. This was a terrible disappointment
My wife and myself enjoyed the delicious entre, drinks and lunch. It was a lovely atmosphere and looking forward to have the pana cotta for desert. We were waiting patiently for a long time. The waitresses were around cleaning tables and getting customers seated. After a long wait for about twenty minutes after finishing lunch I asked the waitress for our desert. Then we were still waiting endlessly with no one serving us but other customers were being served their food. Finally we got up and went to the counter to pay and complained that our desert was not served. She immediately apologized. I still wanted to speak to the supervisor who had the audacity to tell us then that oh but you were not charged for the desert. I asked her how long does it take to serve desert and she did not even apologize and instead said we are very busy. Terrible customer service.
The prices have increased over the past few months. The food is delicious but they are overpriced especially for the quantity. The set up could be nicer considering its in the crown. The tables are quite small too.
Very small size meals for what u pay for from past experience very average I even got the waitress to ask the chef he said that's it
I'm staying at crown few nights disappointing I must say
Efficient and friendly service. Very impressed. Quality of food for the price was excellent. Highly recommend.
We were on a time constraint for a show on Friday and advised this before being seated to ensure we could be served in time. There was only two of us and we were told meals would take about 10 mins from ordering so we each placed our own orders. 25 mins later, the meals came out, identical, instead of two different dishes. Having waited far longer than expected we didn’t have time to send it back. However the waitress did not even apologize let alone offer to swap it for the correct meal. Upon paying, we informed what appeared to be the manager of what happened. She asked if we received two meals, and when we said we did, she said she would therefore charge us for two meals even though one was the wrong meal. If you’re going to mess up someone’s order, at least try to redeem yourself with a complimentary drink, or a slight discount instead of making it the customers problem. The entire experience was customer service void.
Visited this restaurant with a friend today for the 1st time. Customer service was polite and efficient and my friend enjoyed her satay beef meal. I was turned off my original selection as I was advices that it was hot as in chilli hot. I advised that I was looking for a dish with lots of veggies and was told I could have extra veggies added to any meal for an extra $2, which I chose to do and selected the honey soy dish. The chicken was nice but given there was no knife provided I would have thought the chicken portions would have been bite sized. I managed, no buggy. I failed to recognise any “extra vegetables”added to my dish and the soy element of the dish seemed to be straight soy sauce poured onto the plate. It was unpleasantly salty and made anything that touched the bottom of the plate where the sauce was inedible.
Disappointing experience on a rare day out oh and no, we were not asked how our meals were after being served or offered anything further by way of drinks.
The wife and I had lunch here today. The staff are friendly, and made sure you were comfortable.
We had the tempura Prawns for an on tray, I had the Japanese Udon noodle with beef, while my wife had the char sue pork.
Overall an excellent lunch.
If your going to the Casino for a night out, give them ago, you won’t be disappointed.

Love 88 Noodle Bar, food never disappoints! For value for money in Crown Casino alone this place is 5 star. Always go here when looking for a decent fairly priced meal before a visit to the theatre. Would highly recommend.
Tasty meal, shame the drinks were tardy and we had to ask for water.
Prices very reasonable
Ordered the pad thai. It was horrible, i could not eat more then a few bites.
Water glass had lipstick all over it.
And every thing was dirty.disgusting place.
If you want a disease go there.
Some of these reviews are savage. If you are looking for a decent size feed for around $20 quickly then this is your place. Your other bet would be maccas, Subway and wok in a box downstairs and they are closed half the time (Subway & Wok in a box).
I have eaten here 10+ times and never waited longer than 10 minutes. The food isn't top tier but it hits the spot when you have no other options.
Some of the reviews here are unjustified. This place is one of the cheaper, more affordable places to eat at crown and many people seem to expect it to be on the same level as nobu or silk. News flash, you are paying for the ambience/atmosphere, not food. If all you guys wanna do is have a whinge, then go flag youtube videos to overcompensate.
Had Szechuan chicken. The rice is fluffy, like the cashew. And some shredded carrots and spring onion (the garnish) I tasted off capsicum and onion and the quality of the chicken is pffftttt. Come on Crown surely you serve better food than rice, nuts and raw carrots
Recently Had prawn wonton noodle soup, however, the wonton not well cooked. You can see the wonton skin still white, not well cooked, so it's hard not soft when you eat it.
My favourite dish here is Laksa. Authentic flavour and serving was just right for me
Food is EXCELLENT. Service is EXCELLENT. And the atmosphere and staff make it a great place to dine in and enjoy great food and company.
After continuously requesting for water, I finally received a glass after 15 minutes. Later on I ordered a cocktail, I had one sip of it and it was warm, pulpy and overall not worth $20. I tried to complain but was shut down and told that they couldn’t fix it and I still had to pay. Along with this, the employees were rude, rolled their eyes and once we finished our meal practically stared us down until we payed. Once I started getting up, the lady was already tidying up around me and I had to rush out and I ended up physically hurting my arm. Honestly worst experience. IF I COULD GIVE IT 0 Stars I would.
