7 Grams chicken and Cafe

We ordered the 7grams combo which had fried chicken in sweet chilli and original style. Both flavours were very good and chicken was juicy.

Chips, rice cakes, salad were okay. Table bells don’t work as of now but staff is very courteous.

Will definitely go again for the chicken.

The best fried chicken I've had in my life.
Lotus root chips were amazing and perfectly seasoned, cheesy dip was delicious, serving size is amazing.
The food selection was incredible and the service Apolline our waitress gave was the best I've had in years. It's so rare to have attentive customer service, I'm very impressed by everything here and will be coming back again with a bigger group.

One of the greatest chicken places in Perth. Sauce covered chicken stays slightly crunchy, and the sauce compliments chicken well.

So good, especially when freshed made. I dare say better than the ones I had in Korea. Fun fact: I asked why they were called 7 Grams and apparently that was the name of the cafe they took over on the premises. Makes sense since you typically grind 7g of coffee for an Expresso shot!

I love the food! The service is slow given their good reputation. Also, there is no booking in advance. On average, we had to wait for 15 minutes to get a table. Over the weekend, it is even worse. Still, the Korean Fried Chicken here including spicy/garlic wings/drumsticks is a must-try. They also offer Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). The soup base, together with crispy dried pork skin, is superb! Quite expensive but totally worth it!

Directed here by gmap after searching for halal food. They have halal certificate on the wall. The place is pretty full and busy when we got there. They have 2 heater for tables outside very comforting. The food is pretty good. Ordered ½ original fried chicken for about A$19.5 or so. Must try this if you're searching for halal food near CBD in Perth. Waiting time is rather fast, depending on your order.

This is my favourite fried chicken eatery when I'm north of the river. The place is always packed and has a great vibe. The staff are super busy but they do their best to provide good service. The food is always delicious and the servings are generous. Top marks. Give it a go:)

Ordered a chicken combo and the portion was really great, it was enough for 3 or 4 people.the pancake was quite good.the place was nice to eat with friends but not for hanging out too long or had a romantic dinner date since it is always gets busy.

The food is good but it’s VERY filling so you’re basically forced to get take away containers - which they charge for.

Much disappointed as staff was very rude (typically asian bossy attitude). So many rules just to get the bloody food you already paid for. The threatening attitude towards the customers should be changed.

My husband and I enjoyed our food last night however service is really slow and it’s very stuffy/smoky inside. We aren’t local but I think next time takeaway seems to be the better option.

Environment: outdoor or indoor.very causal setting with simple decor. Bright & clean. Packed with large tables. Large area of Open kitchen. Good Music. - 7/10
Service: We ate in a weekday afternoon. Not very busy but only one waiter. He was nice and moved fast to serve, take order, and clean. A bottle of chilled tap water and a stack of utensils were provided when seated. Disposable gloves will be given for korean chicken. Reasonable waiting time. - 7/10
Food: simple menu with photos. Easy to read. Wider selections and combinations for Korean Fried Chicken. Reasonable price.

Free range chicken is used. The chicken wasn't big. So, not very meaty. There's 7pcs for half chicken with bone. Cooked to order. All were very hot inside and very crispy outside. But the meat wasn't marinated enough - a bit bland inside. Worthy to come back to try other flavors or dishes. - 7.4/10

Wow. You have the choice of boneless, with bone and wings. I got the chicken wings and they were fat and juicy, the batter was crispy and the sauce was nicely salty and not too sweet (I had the soy and my friend had the boneless sweet chilli) and it would be easily sharable. The portion size of their takeaway japchae could feed two people easily! The kimchi pancake could have been crispier as it was a tad soggy in the middle and the chips were a little dry but for the chicken, I would visit again

The BEST restaurant in Perth! I guarantee No restaurant in Perth can beat it 100%! All the food is top notch, freshly made and taste absolutely delicious. You want authentic Fried chicken? They got it, not just any fried chicken, The BEST FRIED CHICKEN in PERTH with variety flavour selection! You want authentic Korean food? They have amazing options that Taste amazing! The food served so beautifully and flaming hot! It’s not just the food that makes this place wonderful, but also the staff are super friendly and helpful, as well as the chief not only they are crazy talented but are super nice and down to earth, whenever you see them in the kitchen, they always smiling and having a good time, that’s the secret to their amazing tasty food! This place feels homely, adorable and playlist are always lit. Trust me you won’t be let down, this is the place you are missing out on. Korean fried chicken were the main dishes. Alot of different flavours available. Sweet chilli was a lot more sweet than chilli. Would reccommend the spicier option. Chicken fried rice was good. Decent portions. Half chicken is sufficient for 2 people if you also order another dish.

Always have good experience with this place. If you go with group of 3 then should definitely try the special combo at just 40au u will have the fried tokbokki, chips and panchan as complementary. The portion is generous and the chickens are all well seasoned and crispily coated, i love that crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. Of all flavours my fave is the soy chicken, perfectly seasoned and not spicy! We also order the beef bulgogi at 32au and that is so good with lots of beef and veggies and rice. You can also have the peach soju at 17au (tho a bit overpriced) which is sweet and perfect to drink with chickens or u can have the tap water available for every dine in. We have had great times there. And my recommendation is to get there at around 5pm and sit outside, u happen to see the layering colors of the sky at sunset and of course stay clear of the oily chicken smell on your freshly washed hair. My only glitch is they serve u the rice with forks lol and u have to ask for spoons yourself tho. But overall the staffs are cute and super friendly, just ask them away. Cheers.

Was so surprised and relieved to see a veggie option - their veggie burger is so good! Lovely staff as well.

I know it annoying when you are working and shop gets busy, but you shouldnt take that out on customers.
