43 Below Bar & Restaurant reviews
43Love this place. Although we didn't eat here the food that was coming from the kitchen looked very good, and it's well priced with good sized portions. Pop in and check it out.
Great atmosphere, very friendly and professionall staff, and most of all great meals always different.
Good selection of beers on tap and in stubbies. An old style pub that also has good meals on offer at a reasonable price with big portions.
Great food and excellent service. Stumbled upon this place while restaurant hunting for dinner. Definitely recommend.
We have dined and drank at 43 Below on and off for several years, having resided in the city. As we have moved away, this last lunch was a fond farewell to a much loved haunt. The dishes are hearty, generous and contain quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Recommended.
Friendly staff, good working class atmosphere and decent prices on drinks and meals, plenty of toilet facilities
Great little place. Great company & the staff are excellent
Never new it was there but glad I found it. Keep up the great work guys
Amazing staff and atmosphere with great drinks my go to bar for Perth couldn't think of a better place
Great service, great atmosphere and especially loved the 2 expresso Martini's for $25 on the way to the footy
Nice spot, however lacks the heritage from its History a few posters on the wall explain this but unfortunately over the years with new tenants/owners have failed to capture the original origins but still a vibrant place to be.
Went for fringe festival show. Atmosphere not great, beer we wanted wasn't available (sold out?) and one of our drinks was terrible.
Friendly Great staff
Food was delicious
Only thing that lets this place down is the old carpet as soon as you enter it's the first thing that hits as it smells as old as it looks
Good food at reasonable price, staffs were friendly and service was fast. The place has a chill vibe
Great pub, as pubs used to be, friendly everyone good prices, if you're in the area and just fancy a pint and a chat there's stools at the bar, and you will feel welcome
Good food, reasonable prices and it feels like the bar from Cheers except nobody knows my name.
Below ground bar in the heart of the city, warm and welcoming, great selection of drinks and food, the manager Steve has been there for years.
From James Neil Tremain
A hidden gem.located in the basement of the building at the corner of Hay street mall and Barrack street- opposite the Perth Town Hall.
Old fashioned pub grub and service at very reasonable prices.
Order a meal and a drink,
And you'll definitely want to retunn for more!
This is a nice cosy bar just off the busy CBD area. It wasn’t busy but there was a good atmosphere with a humorous twist. A couple sitting opposite us had ordered food and when served the order was wrong. When the order was corrected the manager came out to the couple explained the error then proceeded to go round the remaining customers offering the incorrect order for free, I have never seen this happen before. The prices are really reasonable with wine being charged at AUD 8.5 which is good for this part of town.
My daughter had her 21st there and it was everything we hoped for. Friendly staff from the coordinator to the bar staff. The food was delicious and good value for money. And the room was free! Thanks everyone.
