Dan has been incredibly helpful with us and our puppy Dougal who can be a little bit unsure/anxious about the world around him. Dan has helped us understand why Dougal reacts the way he does, and has given us so many helpful tips and tricks for how best to support him and help him navigate scary situations. It’s clear how much Dan loves dogs (and the feeling is mutual, Dougal absolutely adores him) and how well he understands their behaviour.

We’re already feeling better equipped to help Dougal and are really looking forward to continuing to work with Dan. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer

Dan has been doing walk and train with our two Bernese mountain dogs twice a week as they had gotten uncontrollable on the lead and over excitable at home. After only 2 weeks we saw an enormous improvement in their behavior. He’s not only been amazing with the dogs but lovely to deal with. And I’ve loved the photo and video updates he sends through. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him at all.

The lessons from Dan were life changing for our family and our parent’s dog. We were having major problems walking the young staffy girl due to excessive pulling and reactivity to birds and other dogs. Nine months ago we adopted a highly reactive rescue dog. We've recently been taking her to training sessions with Dan and are very encouraged to be seeing some progress. Dan knows what he's doing, obviously loves dogs and is a very nice guy to deal with.

My pup Ollie stayed with Dan for three nights while I was away for my 21st birthday. Dan was constantly sending me updates and cute photos of all the dogs having fun! He took took Ollie to parks and to the river, looked like Ollie had a blast. Would definitely love Ollie to stay with Dan again!

Awesome service! We left our Dalmatian with Dan whilst my husband and I took a much needed 4 day getaway. Dan sent us daily updates of their adventures which reassured us she was in great hands. We'll be back for sure!

We can’t thank Dan enough for what he has done for our dogs! We have 2 Border Collies (3 & 4 years old) and one is really anxious.

Dan came to help with my border collie's aggressive behaviour towards our cat.

He was very thorough listening to our concerns and getting a feel for the environment that we were working with.

He was magnificent with the animals.

He came up with a plan to train out the negative behaviours that was manageable and easy to understand and he also demonstrated the execution. In addition when we had a problem with an aspect of the training, Dan was happy to trouble shoot and find an alternative that would work for us.

Dan also showed flexibility in time and location as required.

I have seen Dan work with so many dogs and dog owners in the last 10 years and he is the reason why we chose to adopt a Greyhound. We have known Dan, Richelle and Pace for several years through our mutual membership of AC. We were kept up to date on Pace's activities through the AC website and surmised that Pace was super talented (or perhaps had a super talented owner - although, at the time, we knew more about Pace than his owner!)
Our dogsitter retired and we needed a holiday, so we were delighted to discover that Dan had a dog minding and training business and instantly asked him if he would help us out.
As we were already familiar with Dan and his relationship with Pace, we knew he would be the right person to keep our precious pup in check.
And we were right. The precious pup had a wonderful holiday (I think hers was more action-packed than ours!) and we had the peace of mind knowing she was safe with sensible, caring people.
While we were away, we received updates and fabulous videos and photos of what PP and Pace were up to. It was the highlight of each day and we looked forward to our daily message with anticipation!
