2 Fat Indians reviews
78The food was really amazing! We had the Chana masala and a paneer, shared a rice as the portions are quite big. We were there on a Monday night so it was quite empty which isn’t as nice for the vibe but we were super happy with the food and friendly service. Meals came out quick too. Would recommend if you want really good Indian food!
I had dinner with my friend. Foods were great, friendly staff, and nice vibe. I will definitely go there again.
I was really disappointed by the food quality! Everything was below average. We ordered chicken tikka which is a very basic entree, but it tasted like boiled chicken and was missing the real Indian flavour. Adding to that, the butter chicken was kinda like a soup, with no texture. I’m disappointed because prices were high and basic popular Indian dishes were not even average but below!
Not recommend if you are wanting to have some good Indian meal.
I went there for dinner with my wife and was pleasantly surprised. I can say with confidence that this is one of the best and authentic Indian restaurants in Perth.
The key to a successful dining experience is to know what to order. Butter chicken was excellent. Goat Biryani was ok quite meaty but needs to have that Biryani smell which was lacking but it was good to. The egg plant was excellent, we had a few more dishes but the butter chicken with saffron rice and goat Biryani was all i could handle. Staff excellent. Wait time less than 15 minutes and quite a few dishes so all in all a good dining experience
Good food but not service was not up to standard. Was dissapointed with how the staff made a sulky face when we asked to divide our masala chai into 2 seperate glasses. And she DIDN'T come back to our table to bring us the chai even after 15 minutes or so.
Food was yum, gona go back again. The new venue is much better than the old place down the road
We payed them to get abused. I am regular customer of 2 fat indians, but this was my worst experience in mt lawley branch. Chef abused us for ordering food. If they want to keep the kitchen open, the cook needs to learn the basic etiquettes of behaving. I can't even mention the words he said on ordering a jeera rice take away. We tried to ignore his behaviour at first but getting abused was not accepted.
Best food always. You ll Never get disappointed with the curry taste that it maintains so well.
Really great food and service but unfortunately the music was way too loud to fully appreciate our get together with interstate family members.
The best place for authentic Indian food. Staff and kitchen are on top of their games and do their best to cater to everyone according to the standards. Lip-smacking and food is flowing with rich Indian flavours. TFI is always my go-to!
Well where do we start. PERTH’S FINEST INDIAN
CULINARY EXPERIENCE as they say on the website is definitely hitting above there weight. Firstly I would like to say that we had the mixed banquet and the size portions were decent but that's about it for me. I didn't really like the taste of the dishes but that could be personal. What was bad tho was the ontray off lamb kebab and chicken drumb sticks tasted ok but the lamb kebab ends could not be cut or even stabbed with a fork it was as hard as a rock. The food was Luke warm, I don't even think it was at a safe temperature to surve. Food did come out quickly and the limited time we talked with the staff they were pleasant. Restaurant it's self looked dirt but the table tops were clean tho.
Personal wouldn't go back.
Great food but in particular very kind staff! Very accommodating to our needs on a rainy day. Thank you!
I paid 42 $ and what I get is half chili mili paneer (which cost me about 20 $) and one paneer curry. Not happy at all with the quantity of chili paneer.
Sweet customer service, food was disappointing and servers did not know ingredients of menu items
We had come in to dine in today was a little busy the food was amazing, best curry house in Perth. The staff was lovely along with their service would highly recommend to any one craving for curry. The chef came and spoke to us he is very professional and skillful and very lovely in nature too. Would be back for sure.
Amazing food, one of the Indian food restaurant with authentic flavours and serving size is also good. Staff is very accomodating as I arrived without appointment with my boys and my mum.dal makhni is the best.
They offered sit for my mum when they were buay sorting out the table. Overall highly recommended the place.
Food was pretty good but it's in my opinion the curry is over priced. Not sure why Perth has such expensive Indian restaurants.need to take a page out of the book of Indian restaurants over east I feel.
It seems that this restaurant has achieved what science has long thought impossible. They have managed to harness the temperature of the f'ing sun and put it in a vindaloo. I'd like to congratulate the team behind this remarkable achievement.
Best service, Excellent food
The entree was amazingg
Had the best curry and naan bread in perth.
Highly recommended!
