The movers turned up on time and were very efficient & professional. Highly recommend.

I booked well in advance for an 8: 00am move only to be told 2 days out that it was being moved to 11: 30am. Moving day is a big day as you would know, so this change threw my plans right out making the day a lot more stressful. The caretaker at the building I was moving in to was also quite put out by the last minute change. The crew doing the move on the day were good guys.

4th or 5th time using 1800 Movie It. The staff are always polite and professional and always take care with your belongings, while at the same time very efficient and reasonably priced. Would only ever use this company.

They broke my TV and desk and I didn’t take out their extra insurance as the price was already so expensive. I booked a bed disassemble and reassemble and the men came out with no tools. They had to use my toolbox to finish their job.
They barely understood English, so it was hard to communicate sometimes. I asked for the TV to be put in a box and they nodded, but it wasn’t. My TV frame/bezel was warped and had lights showing through on the screen while watching, so I had to buy a new one.
My study desk is damaged as they used (my) heavy duty packing tape to shut the drawers and it ripped off the surface underneath. Previous removal companies have always used masking tape. If I’d known they were doing that, I would’ve asked them to use masking tape (also mine - as they didn’t bring supplies).
To top it off, they left a deep scratch in the wall, dirty hand prints on all my white furniture, chipped and scratched just about every item (eg my couch legs).

I sent Christian an email and a text message but received no reply. Very disappointing. I only went with this company through a family recommendation.

Andrew, Elias and Jan were polite and courteous and went above and beyond our expectations. The boys always asking if there was anything else requiring moving or aranging before they finished.this is the second time we have used 1800 Move It and the second time Andrew has been apart of the team moving us. He goes above and beyond. Elias and Jan were just so happy and just went above our expectations too. Management were ok to deal with. The boys are great who do the actual moving.

1800 Move It did a great job. This is the second time I have used 1800 Move It, the last time they were good, this time they were better! Great team, quick and efficient, friendly, and careful.

We found 1800 Move It professional and easy when booking and they accommodated last minute changes with no penalty. The call out fee seemed to be lower than other companies. Unfortunately the two removalists on the day seemed inexperienced and were inefficient with their technique and time. This just meant we had to supervise at all times and it took longer than our previous moves.

We would not recommend 1800 Move it. The guys who showed up to pack and move were nice, but they were not professional movers and packers.
We had some issues with settlement which caused timeline troubles with our move, but even that aside, this company was supposed to streamline the moving process for us, instead it was made exponentially more difficult when we had to deal with the breakages and random packing at the other end.
The owner of the company Christian, is not a nice man to deal with. They underquote the time it will take and then charge through the nose, even though you end up doing a lot of the work yourself, because again, the guys he uses are not professionals, and don’t really know what they’re doing.
I wish I’d checked before hiring them as it turns out a lot of people I know have had similar experiences with this company.

Don't touch these cowboys. Due to the amount of damage we could not recommend 1800 Move It. EVER! Nothing covered in plastic as told. Large heavy boxes marked HEAVY placed on top of boxes marked FRAGILE. Just "get in, get it done and get out"

Couldn't ask for better!

We altered the date 4 times and yet Christian did not complain.
We had two teams. One team moved pot plants and items to a second address (another family member). The other team moved all furniture and boxes to the new house then went back and picked up all the paintings.
So far (touch wood) no items damaged no buildings damaged either.
Both teams were relentless workers and a pleasure to deal with.
This firm are good people who provide good value, behave with integrity and deserve their customer’s gratitude. They certainly have ours.

I had a good experience with them during my last moving. So I thought to use them again. Unfortunately, small truck was sent rather than container. After discussion with manager, they deducted the moving time between places but it was inconvenience and took longer time to plan. Moreover, last time, the movers were adults and professional. While this time, they were young (one was in school) boys. One of them had bad shoulder and they were highly inexperience. They were nice boys but slow and paying the same high amount for them is unfair in my opinion. Christian (the owner) should keep the quality same or then compensate for this. I will look for more options next time rather than relying on them only.

Very efficient, caring and moved our whole house from Perth metro to regional town with no problems.
Would definitely use them again.

Look at the recent reviews not ones from 2020.

These guys are cowboys, careless and sloppy. Christian is rude, disorganised and clueless.

They don’t know how to move or deal with high end furniture. Poor communication every day we used them yet they were quick to get the bill paid.

Cringes me to think I paid what I did for the worst service I have ever experienced. Another case of a business being greedy and fleecing customers due to high demand. I would highly recommend Giraffe Removals whom I usually use. I was told that 1800move we exceptional but this was before Christian took over and now it is an utter disgust.

The ONLY thing they are good for is taking your money. These guys just added stress to an already stressful time in your life. DO NOT use them.

What a bunch of legends. I made a mistake on my form but thanks to Christian, all sorted. The two guys packed everything for me and nothing was too much for them. Can't thank the team enough.

There is no point booking in a time slot for a certain day because they will just turn up when ever they feel like it changed the time 3 times then sent 3 people to try make up for lost time. Hard to get in contact with basically a useless company.

Super friendly, professional and fast. I hope not to move again anytime soon but if I do I'll be calling these guys.

We had a complicated move due to the quick sale of our house and my husband's mobility equipmment. After 44 years in our home the moving process needed a well timed approach. The team at 1800 Move-It were great in providing boxes and a skip bin ahead of time for me to do some decluttering and packing. Then along came Andrew and Drew to do a fabulous job of packing up the rest of our belongings with care and good humour. I felt my stress lessen with their respectful and efficient attitude. When it came to moving day they took great care with placing furniture and boxes where I wanted. All furniture and smaller treasures arrived in our new apartment without damage. Thank you guys!
