ZiNG Pop Culture Swanston St.

Zing is down stairs, up stairs is where the Nintendos live.
(They changed locations so disregard that previous review I left. I haven't gone down that door/stairwell to the other level in the store, unless that's also an old review from Swanson Sreet.)
Merchandise varies location wise. They do have a website if there's something you can't find in store, but have seen in other EB Games / Zing.

Click and collect has been great during lockdown. Annoying that I can’t return a faulty item though! Waiting for you guys to reopen.

I wasn't actually very excited about the EB Games on Swanston Street, The Nintendo Switch public consoles upstairs still had the same games again. So they haven't changed or put in new Switch games in any of the consoles yet. But they really should change the games on the public Nintendo Switch consoles upstairs. Everything is still the same.

Love the way the staff treat kids with great respect. I find excellent customer service at all EBs. Must be a nerd in their own environment thing. They actually want to go above and beyond to get you the Mew Nanoblocks you've been searching for.

I love Zing Pop Culture, but have no need to ever purchase from EB Games. I have great loyalty points from Zing, but it only gives you benefits in EB Games, so there’s absolutely no point in being a loyal Zing Pop Culture member!

In saying that, I love what Zing sells in T-shirts, pop vinyls, Marvel, Disney, Harry Potter and all new movies keeping up with the times on the cheaper and more expensive products depending on your tastes. There’s even a great online catalogue to buy from if they don’t have it in store. It’s one of my favourite places to splurge shop and I hope they dramatically improve their rewards system!

Huge place with a wide variety of games and collectibles! So stoled I got my Marvel Legends Carnage! Would recommend this place!

The service was terrible I love zinc and eb, yet when I tried to purchase hitman 3 which is MA 15+ I was not able to even after I proved I was over fifteen because I did not have physical ID only digital. I am very disappointed in eb for the terrible customer service

I bought COD Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered Bundle here for around $38, the staff are friendly and they play good music

Three levels (this includes Zing Pop Culture). Has games, novelties, pop vinyls, three levels of fun things to see. Not much else to say.

Super friendly workers (shout out to Kiera) and lots of toys and games to look at. Regular visits from me.

They got a good range of star wars Harry Potter products! And always check the t-shirts on promo they always have some good deals!

The unique EBgames+Zing combination on Swanston is a very convenient one-stop experience. You get to chill and browse around without feeling like you're being watched all the time. The staffs are nice enough to chat but also super knowledgeable and keen in working out technical solutions to your needs.

In May 2020 I bought a second hand Xbox one from this Eb Games for $600. When I got it home I found out that the controller was the old generation controller with no audio input and the left button on the d pad didn’t work. I took the controller to the Eb Games in Melbourne central and had to wait several weeks for them to get one in stock. When I finally got that controller it too had a faulty button but we were in the second lock down when I found out and was just so over it at that point that I was done. Found out later that Target was selling Xbox ones for $600 brand new with all I got with my faulty kit.

It irks me that not only did they keep selling me faulty stuff, and had to wait for faulty replacements, but sold them for the same price as brand new ones at Target.

Son paid a visit-was very happy with the purchases and team members there-he will no doubt pay more visits

Great range of games and pop culture memorabilia, plus an upstairs game area where you can demo all the latest games and consoles.

The staff here were amazing, originally we went to the melb central store to get some dbz manga, they didn't have it so they called up this store who did. The guy asked for the wrong books, that's fine, but the lady was very helpful im getting the correct ones which were an Xmas present for my son:)

Just Purchased a $200 dollar item (Fallout Plasma Rifle) from here, came home and has the Bolts that hold the barrel to the main part missing, other than that good store

Lovely staff. Hit and miss with some of the items depending on what fandom you're a part of. But I love stopping into zing. Prices are pretty good.
