Will definitely be making my way down to the Armadale boutique from now on just from this recent shopping experience.

Went into the High Street Armadale store pre Xmas, extremely upset. I had just picked up my dress from a 'couture' dressmaker - it was AWFUL, so far off the mark that I could not possibly wear it to my daughter's wedding the next day. As soon as I entered this shop, a lovely young lady approached me and asked if I was ok, I was in tears, she said '. Wait over there, I'll bring some dresses to try on. '. I had tried on Zimmermann before, but had not found anything. This gorgeous, polite (think her name was Issy?) went out the back, came back with four dresses - I fell in love with the first dress, was so happy. Thank you - I'll be heading straight to Zimmermann (and High Street Armadale - Issy) for a special dress from now on (wish I had have done that in the first place!)

It’s been my fourth visit to the Armadale store since it moved from Chadstone. I used to really enjoy shopping at Zimmerman but the service I’ve received from a few of the younger, new girls at the new store has been extremely disappointing. At Christmas I ordered a dress to wear for my wedding anniversary in the city and when I arrived at the store in the city to collect it they hadn’t received any notification from the Armadale store which left me without a dress to wear that night. Recently, I visited Armadale having shortlisted a number of dresses and bathers to take to Italy this week. With barely any customers in the store but three staff I had to find my way out into the store to try and find sizes while I could hear the girls talking about their weekend. Only one more mature girl seemed to be bothered to serve me after the others went to get something and didn’t return. When I eventually went to purchase something there was no one at the cash register or anyone to even tell I wanted to pay so I simply walked out. It seemed like the girls were only interested in their social plans and new stock and simply couldn’t be bothered adjusting their focus. I bought Marysia and Karla Colletto online instead.

I had such a pleasant experience at the Zimmermann Boutique in Armadale. The stylists were welcoming, warm and helpful! I was happy to spend my money here. Few days after my purchase, one of the stylists recognised me on the street and stopped to asked how my event went. Customer service at its best.
