Used to love their pistachio gelato but now it’s not that great it tasted like it had salt in it

I love Zero Gradi and have been going for years. They have quality ice cream. Unfortunately there is a lot of staff turnover and they aren’t the friendliest. Also, the last few times I’ve gone they don’t accept cash and the first time didn’t tell me until after I was served. The customers should be given the option considering they always have been flexible that way. You lost a star based on it

No children’s sizes, then totally inflexible with sizes. No real understanding that just a bit of flexibility or catering to children could avoid meltdowns/good for business

My expectations were exceeded! Despite the distance, I'd been curious about Zero Gradi, and I finally had the chance to try it. The Black Hawaii and Macadamia and Honey flavors stood out for me. The service was also noteworthy.

Nice venue and the seating area is shared with the 400 Gradi restaurant so it’s convenient. We tried the strawberry sorbet and pistachio flavours. The ice-cream was okay with nothing to write home about.

Epic salted caramel gelato. Great selection of flavours plus some non-ice cream treats such as cakes, tortes and biscotti.

Whether it’s for ice-cream located next to the restaurant it’s always good, sad that they got rid of my cheesecake ice-cream, but the rest is great. Restaurant experience was wonderful, attention to detail, waiter was absolutely lovely, experienced and friendly, very welcoming. I ordered the gnocchi which I have to say could have been a little more added to the plate, but it is fine dining. For the price and food I’d say is worth it.

Service was great but tragically the ice cream is not very good! Tiramisu tastes like cheap coffee syrup and offhand vanilla, and was also weirdly grainy. Chocolate was also kind of artificially sweet? Honestly would recommend just walking the extra half km to messina if you have time/energy.

Mouth watering creamy ice creams and an array of flavours, the biscoff was delicious, so delicious, that my husband had 3 scoops. I wish this location stocked more cakes like their Crown location.

Nice place to hangout, good ice cream, good coffee, and good food next to it, under the same building.

Amazing desserts ️ The lane is such a lively place with so many restaurants around. Definitely a good one to visit

Poor costumer service, i got in with my friend 30 minutes before closing time and the girl already packed up all the icecream tags which didn't bother me at the start thinking she could tell us the flavours, but instead she kept looking at us for few min waiting for our decision, we have asked then what flavours were there and she was pretty in a hurry. Part from that all the flavours we got were tasteless

I want to try the Pistacchio ice cream and it was Tasteless, very disappointed. I personally prefer other places for the ice cream

This place charges every customer who pays by card. It's not exactly a hidden charge because there is a tiny piece of paper stuck to the card reader.

Australia is one of the most expensive places to live in the world. Add to that one of the highest levels of tax for most people ie those earning less than $100,000 pa, and a total stagnation in wages growth for all but the top earners and that means Australians struggle to keep up with ever rising costs.

Post covid lockdowns, we've been hit with price rises, and news that GST (the least equitable tax possible as a billionaire pays exactly the same as a homeless refuge) may be going up even further soon. And now it appears that businesses are sneakily bringing in an additional way to rip off and profit from customers by charging them an extra % whenever they pay by card. This is new and not happening in other countries.

And lets be clear: for years banks have been encouraging us to use cards instead of cash and have closed branches nationwide to ensure people obey their directive. Then covid hit and businesses and banks and the government all insisted that we pay by card for everything to avoid death from covid. And THATS WHEN BUSINESSES AROUND AUSTRALIA START CHARGING US TO PAY BY CARD!

No news channel is reporting on this price gouging and noone in government is speaking out against this unethical practice (businesses should be legally compelled to absorb the costs of business like this in the same way that restaurants shouldnt be allowed to charge for tap water).

To be clear, if you the customer dont make a stink and walk out without completing your purchase when faced with this situation, more and more us businesses in Australua will rip you off, the price and the amount of tax will keep going up further and further while your salary stays almost exactly the same so that year by year as you continue to work harder and get older you will be less and less well off financially.

To conclude  if you the business want people to pay by card instead of dirty, disease riddled cash, you should not be price gouging every time a customer does the right thing.

After a disappointing lunch we came in to get ice cream and to be fair it was delicious! However, staff seems to be more interested in chatting and on phones. Shame.

Children and I love this ice cream. I haven't had a chance of trying anything else but the flavors are heavenly.

Bought 2 coffees from them. Can't even provide a cup of tap water to go with it. Coffee is also horrible. Staff more interested in chatting than serving customers.

Very nice, next door to 400 gradi, lots of flavours to choose from. Unfortunately not much parking so you may need to park a few blocks away

The 400 Gradi restaurants make great pizzas and they have shown here that they make great gelati as well.

If you're going to advertise opening hours, you should probably stick to them. Closed 45min early. Very frustrating.
