Zeppelin Kitchen

My son and I try to grab brunch/lunch once a week at different places around Melbourne, we are both big food fans.
Zeppelin has been a bit of a revelation, much better than I would have expected at a little local cafe.
Just had Magic Mushrooms, whipped feta with assorted mushies and truffled polenta, and it was terrific.
Every thing we’ve had here has been great and the service has been just as good: friendly and attentive.
We’ve been coming back here far more often than we should!

Terry and the team run a beautiful little spot with a causal and homey vibe. The coffee was just right and oh my the food - chefs kiss! Looking forward to coming back again (and again) really soon to work through the rest of the menu. Thanks Terry - Mandy & Damian.

Mum and I recently found this place and it's fantastic; great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Conspicuously good ingredients, very fresh food. Well worth a look.

Loved the place! Their food is the lot more healthy version of the usual meals you get at other places. Will happily go back any time!

This place is very good, the food is great, portions are generous and the dishes are fresh. Prices are okay, is not cheap but not crazy either.

The only thing not so good in here is the coffee.

Great Cafe with awesome food & lovely staff. It was great that they really listen to how you like your coffee & I like really hot coffee.now, I like cafe latte's, only because I dislike too much froth but still like chocolate sprinked on top.so this is now called 'a dressed latte' love it.

Come because of the high rating, very disappointed, rude waitress and worst coffee I had in local area…not recommended!

One of my favourite cafes in Melbourne. Great food with amazing gluten free range, good coffee and extremely attentive staff.

Wonderful cafe in Brighton! Friendly service and amazing food! Had their halloumi wrap takeaway before and it was incredible. Went back again for a brunch on a Sunday morning and tried the Moroccan Shakshuka. It was so delicious! Plus their courtyard is beautiful too!

Fantastic experience highly recommend. Wonderful food. Terry never stopped being the host. Will be going back

Zeppelin Kitchen is nothing short of amazing. I came to visit from interstate looking for a nearby café to have a meal, and my goodness did this café deliver. We were warmly greeted by front of house staff who gave us some menus to select from. I usually am quick to make a decision but everything on their all-day breakfast menu made it so difficult to choose as all items looked equally delicious! My partner and I chose the Shakshuka and the Wagyu Benedict and the first taste of the Wagyu Benedict was incredibly delicious, it just melted in my mouth. The eggs were beautifully cooked, and the sauce orchestrated such a wonderful meal experience.

I also had the opportunity to try the Shakshuka which was equally, beautifully cooked. Filled with an array of spices, veggies including capsicum, and eggs, the Shakshuka was delicious. We made a special request to add rosti (or latkes as some people know it), and the chef's were happy to make the accommodation as the place wasn't too busy. We were also given little pockets of bread to fill the remaining Shakshuka with, and it was equally delicious. The coffee and hot chocolate was also delicious and beautifully prepared.

Amazing food, omg on the presentation, incredible service, light and breezy Cafe.

I didn't want to leave a review because I always want a seat here. The slow cooked Moroccan lamb salad is the best of the best. Staff are pleasant. Beautiful little spot.

Janeece and I visit the cafe on a regular basis (almost every day) and yes the coffee is good. For us though, its the fabulous boys and girls behind the counter that make the experience so worthwhile. Angie (departed), Verity, Louis and Ann are the star attractions on a regular basis. Always with a welcoming smile, a happy greeting and some good conversation. Dealing with the public and all their idiosyncrasies which entail is never an easy task; however, these 3 young people deal with this on a daily basis and continue to smile through.
Yes the coffee is good, but its these bright sparks behind the machine which keep us coming back time and time again.

Great food. Friendly people. Comfortable environment. Rich n smooth coffee. What more could you ask for.

I haven't ever written a comment about a cafes service before, however after my experience at Zeppelin I feel the need to say something. The manager/boss spoke horribly to his younger, FEMALE employees. I could not believe what I heard. He spoke down to them aggressively and unnecessarily across the vacinity. I cannot imagine why anyone would continue to work under this tyrant. Service by the manager/
boss was rushed and made me feel uncomfortable.

Local cafe that keep guessing my coffee order for day, whether its dirty chai or not, long or short Mac it’s always spot from both barista (Guy n Girl). Very friendly staff including patrons hence I keep coming back.

I waited to be served at the outside counter and a tall guy working their yelled at me to come into the shop to order a coffee. I then walked into the shop and a girl was in no hurry to serve me. Takes my order and I wait outside. The girl and the tall guy continue to chat and leave my coffee on the bench for me to guess that it’s ready. I then collect my coffee and wait for some kind of, have a nice day, or anything really. They ignore me and I walk off with my coffee which I paid for an was verbally abused by the boy for and the coffee was dumped on the counter by same guy who couldn’t of cared less about what he had just done. They continue to chat amongst themselves and the paying customer (me) is ignored throughout this process. Worst customer service ever by both of them, especially the tall guy who yelled at me. There is no point having an express window for coffee if you are too lazy to serve from there. I was on a work break and in a hurry so the concept of the window stemmed good. Bad mistake and terrible customer service. You really need to hire people that treat people like paying customers and do some kind of course in customer service. This happened on 02/06.
