I recently visited Dr. John Lu for treatment of my right arm tendonitis, which was a result of my gym and boxing activities. My experience with him was nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Lu is not only a professional in his field but also genuinely caring about his patients' well-being.

His approach to treating my tendonitis was through acupuncture, a method I had never tried before. The results were remarkable. The acupuncture sessions provided substantial relief from the pain I was experiencing. It was evident that Dr. Lu is highly skilled and knowledgeable in this technique.

I have been going to the Wells for many years and had not taken notice of Zen 5 Chinese Medicine Centre.

I had been suffering from joint and golf elbow pains for many months and was in desperate need for pain relief. I was hovering around the front looking in and the kind Dr John Lu did not pressure me to come inside. I finally mustered up the courage to go in and asked for a card to make an appointment. Dr John Lu was so kind that I immediately requested for treatment. Over the next month, I received acupuncture, cupping, and massages to relieve my joint and golf elbow pains.

I’m incredibly grateful for the time and care Dr. John Lu has spent helping treat my condition. After each treatment, I felt better and better. My pain has been reduced by 90%. The rest is for me to improve on with my posture and attend Dr John Lu once in a while.

Dr John Lu takes the time to explain what he’s going to do and what effect that will have on the area he’s treating - which is something I truly appreciate.

Went there on a Saturday and the guy that did the massage was nice but the massage was the same four moves repeatedly for 30 minutes. Couldn’t wait for it to end as it was boring and pretty insipid. Have had better massages at other places.

I have been seeing John for a few months, he is very experienced at his profession, has helped me with various muscular problems, which have loosened me up. Will continue to see him for a better body.

Dr John has been able to achieve for me what others haven’t … by relieving extreme pain from deep scar tissue after hip surgery that damaged my sciatic nerve.with acupuncture, cupping & massage. John is good at what he does, I’ve been getting acupuncture. I was hesitant at the start but after a few sessions my pain had gone away. He truly cares and will explain in detail everything you need to know this is why I will never go anywhere else. Thank you John.

I received acupuncture treatment from a gifted physician Dr John Lu. I have had numerous acupuncture treatments from different Doctors through out my life and recognised John’s skill. Lockdown prevented me from caring for a life long back issue which eventually became chronic. Marrying acupuncture with chiropractic treatments (Cox-technic) I have had amazing results. I have a Sacral problem that has caused my inability to walk properly. With numerous treatments from John my desire to complete a four day hike and Glamping tour was achieved. One day I walked 17km another 11 km carrying a Pack. I was advised not to go, but thanks to John I went. Nothing adverse happened. I am continuing to improve and soon will be back to my pre-Covid health.

If I could do more stars I would! I have seen John Lu over the past 3 weeks and have seen amazing improvements in my panic attacks. I have had panic attacks for the past 18 months and tried acupuncture before, however John has helped to lower the attacks in the past 3 weeks. He has listened and asked questions to help my anxiety - and it has helped!

Friendly and professional. Acupuncture and massage has done wonders to the pain in my injured upper back, almost immediately.

Was left waiting beyond my booking time. They seemed very disorganised. The lady who gave me a massage was ridiculously rough despite telling her three times to go softer. I am left with bruises all over my back and having had a painful and awful experience. Waste of money.

The worst experience I have had In terms of a massage came to this place with a simple knot on my shoulder to fix. And came out worse than I came in. Due to the old guy not knowing how to fix the problem and kept asking me if it was sore in places that I didn’t need to be fixed.

I have been a customer of Zen 5 camberwell for quite a long time The staff are highly skilled and professional and always manage fix my aches and pains. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone looking for high quality treatment.

Not impressed with the remedial massage i got. Very average massage and my skin got minor scratches due to either the lady was wearing gloves or just rough hands, not sure.

This place is staffed with a dedicated cadre of amazing masseurs and masseuses. I'd just gone through a long period where I was working at a desk and my back had suffered so I decided to book in here for the first time back in 2010. No regrets! Friendly atmosphere, quiet, and my friends all raved about it once I directed them here. The value is amazing, they could charge a lot more for what they offer.

Called to book, was told to be there in 5 minutes. Hurried to get there to be told I now had to wait 20 minutes. Can't trust them to keep a booking.
