Zap Fitness 24/7 Carnegie

Gym is extremely stuffy and i'm hit with a wall of smell due to poor ventilation every time I go. Drinking tap is always dirty. Machine equipment are very worn and always extremely sticky because the grips are coming off. Benches are wobbly which is extremely dangerous when lifting heavy weights. Max barbell and ez bar weight is 30kg and dumbbell weight is 40kg which is pretty low compared to most other gyms. They also don't have a weekly membership which blows my mind. If you want to join you have to do so on a monthly basis and if you want to cancel you have to continue paying for a month AFTER you cancel. I would highly recommend finding another gym. Almost every option is better and at a better price point. Very disappointed.

Has everything you need and expect from a gym. Good space, selection of weights and 24hrs.

Cheap and affordable too.

Key tag stopped working a week after I signed up.
Never staffed on Saturdays eventhough they are meant to be till 2pm.
Don’t pick up their calls.

How am I meant to use a gym when my tag doesn’t work, I’m still being billed, and noone is available when they are meant to be both over call and in branch? How else am I meant to sort this issue out?

I’ll just keep getting other members to let me in, doesn’t really matter if I have a membership or not at that point I guess.

I’m a long-term member of multiple gyms and this has got to be by far THE WORST I’ve been to.

The toilet is unisex which is not comfortable for women, and the disinfectant wipes box always empty

Good gym with reasonable price range.
Evening hours are literally too busy and crowded, we need to wait for our turn to use our equipment.
Good part is cleanliness is always maintained.
Some equipment needs a serious revamping as they are greasy and sticky.

Overall its a decent 24hr gym

The best thing I have done for my physical and mental health is to join Zap 24/7 fitness. I used a few Zap center facilities and I enjoyed the environment. I was a member of a few other gym in prior but glad to say that I'm ZAPPED with some ordinary careless gym.

Zap fitness 24/7 has excellent staff members who are happy to support you in anyway they can. They have good listening skills and have a great understanding of when you need them the most. Don't just take my word for it give it a go as a guest member or use the facilities when they have a special offer and find out for yourself, you won't be disappointed. What do you have to lose?

Overall a great gym at a reasonable price. There is no bathroom scale in the gym. It would be great if you could arrange one.

Pros: 24 hour gym so you can hope anytime, cleanliness maintained so doubts on that and they have most of the equipments which is needed for proper gym workout.

Cons: some of the equipments are not maintained properly like rubber of any handle is sticky sometimes or partially removed. Few of the instruments are not work for a long time but they have substitute for that.

Overall decent gym with good space amount of space to workout!

Not even worth giving 1 star, customer care number is just a joke, no reply for emails. They will take your money until they get satisfied.better not starting anyone’s fitness journey here

By far the worst gym ive ever signed up to. 12 month lock in contract, no way of getting out of it so have to put up with this sh*t gym. DO NOT SIGN UP TO ZAP

I have emailed and called to cancel my membership. My membership is well over a year, still getting charged weekly, tried calling their hotline, all it says is to email them, but no action is being done and I am still paying.

Been trying to cancel my memebership for months! Nobody ever answers the phone or replies to my emails but continues to charge me

The gym is fine, busy during peak times. The membership is ridiculous, and money grabbing, theres no compassion with this francise.

Avoid Zap if you can. My belongings were stolen at the gym. Someone took my bag into the shower room and left it in there. They are telling me that they cannot find any images for the suspect. There was a bag when the person went in and no bag when he/she came out. How hard it can be? ! The video was deleted without sending to police. No one seems want to help. The attitudes were reluctant. NO customer care at all.

Never get membership of ZAP FITNESS, worst staff and theirs policy, never get satisfaction from customer help service.

A good gym overall but doesn’t really have much variety of equipment and the dumbbells maximum weight is 40 kg and the barbells maximum weight is 30kg

This Gym not clean at all and half of the machines are broken. Toilet are filthy and the shower never been clean. Canceled my membership and they still charged me for another 8 weeks instead of 4 weeks. Be carful when you cancel your membership. They just squeezing money from you.

More expensive and less flexible than rec xpress (previous company). Would not let me suspend my membership due to technical issues with their systems even though other people I know at the gym could.

It's a compact gym, but I like it that way. There are times when the gym is overly crowded, that are mostly evening times. But then there are sometimes when the gym has literally no one. They have a good set of equipments and facilities. Although there is no ground staff present at anytime, so you are on your own and if you are an amateur, better get some training first else it might just get overwhelming. Price wise they are really good for me.
