A really accessible gym with good amenities. The free weights area is large and the cardio equipment new enough to be fully functional. While they could use a few more pieces of equipment, it is all at least kept in good repair and the gym is clean.

I have been a member of this gym for a while now and I am very pleased with my experience. The 24/7 access is a huge plus, allowing me to fit my workouts into my busy schedule. The membership cost is also very affordable, making it accessible to a wide range of people. The equipment is well-maintained and the facility is always clean. Overall, I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a convenient and affordable workout option.

I have been a member of Zap since it opened. It is good value for money, it is always clean, there is a variety of equipment that is well maintained. The staff have always been nice. Recently painted. Can be a little busy sometimes

The gym itself works. Starting to get. A bit dated though. Usually 1-2 machines out at any time but has all the things you need for a workout.
However, I'm pretty disgusted with how they treated me after being a loyal member for over 5 years.
Debit success, their payments provider are dodgy as anything.
One week they claimed they couldn't debit my payment and charged me an extra $10. My CC was 100% in balance etc.only issue was them. Getting hold of someone to dispute it was too difficult so they got away with it.
Next my cc actually was stolen and they couldn't debit it (Yay Optus). I was overseas whilst this unfolded, seems they only communicated by SMS (no roaming.didnt get it) and they didn't send an email until 6 weeks in but no way to contact them, they ignored my reply by email.over this period it racked up a fair amount and they tacked on fees etc. When i got back turns out they sent the debt collectors after me. I settled the amount with them amicably but this is where they got dirty. They refused to reinstate my membership at the rate I was on, $8.99 and tried to make me re-sign at a rate of $12. I provided them an opportunity to make this right and they've refused. Disgusting way to deal with a loyal customer who's been a victim of fraud.

Spacious gym. Very clean and well maintained. The staff is also friendly. Have a good collection of exercise equipment.

A spacious gym with three rooms, there is everything you need for a full-fledged base and isolation and even crossfit training.

Would be five stars if they didn’t have horrible music so loud. Just let gym members listen to their own. Hard to concentrate on form.

I cancelled my Gym membership in June 2020 due to going into Lockdown in Melbourne again, and also moving relocating homes as a result from COVID. I changed banks so I did not notice, but payments began in November 2020 through to now. I've only been notified my bank now that my account is $300.00+ in overdraft due to these ongoing payments and now overdraft fees.

You can't contact them on their phone lines - their shut. You just have to email. And once they call you, it's on a private number so you can't bother them for an update.

I've now spoken with several representatives at Zap customer service, all who exempt themselves from any responsibility, and resfuse to try and resolve the issue. You get a 'Not our problem, and we don't care if you're unhappy' resonse.

I'll be taking this through Consumber affaris as I've never experienced such appaling customer service ever before. 0/10

Great gym, great staff, great trainers, great price. Put my membership on hold when I had surgery without any issues. Cancelled my partner’s membership when she requested. Never had any issues getting through to customer service by phone during business hours. Has 4-5 squat racks (if people double up on the deadlift platform), aircon, and like 20 cardio machines if you care about that too.

I've just witnessed terrible customer service from Jess. Make sure you record yourself cancelling your membership as they will blame you for staff's incompetence when they don't file the cancellation paperwork.

I encourage everyone to read the reviews of Zap Fitness on Product Review to see a lack of accountability and a endless stream of complaints.

Cancelled my membership via email. Got a response not relevant to my cancellation. Tried calling dozens of times. Continously unavailable. Theyve put me onto debt collextors. Cant get onto anyone to resolve the issue. They dont answer phones or emails. If your thinking of writing a review, be sure to hold off until you try to put a stop to your membership.

Update on previous review:

I have emailed 4 times. Called multiple times. I have been told that I would be called back and this issue resolved, never happened.
I have been treated with disrespect by your staff over the phone. I want my membership cancelled. I am not paying $200 plus dollars to cancel. I went to Zapp 3 times before the lockdown, my cooling off period had just finished. I have an autoimmune disease and I can not go back to the gym anytime soon with this pandemic. Zapp was charging me without me knowing when gyms reopened. When I called your staff had a go at me about that. This is honestly a joke.
Please cancel my membership.

Great experience
I’ve been gyming here for at least 8 months. Great experience I’ve had. All machines and weights are in very well condition. It has almost every machine you’ll need, a calf raise machine is missing though. May get a little crowded in busy hours otherwise not so crowded.

High quality equipment, really big with something for everyone.
Crowd DJ is awesome too, gives you the option to put on the music you like, love that for when I forget my headphones.
Super friendly staff and trainers as well; they always go the extra mile for the members that need any help!

Terrible customer service.

I don't post reviews that often but after this experience I am really frustrated.

I have been a member of ZAP FITNESS 24/7 since May 2018.

I am very disappointed with the service.

The GYM is ok. Toilets are never really clean.
The TVs on elyptics don't work way too often but I really don't care much about those things. I care about the customer service.

Be ready to pay extra charges and no free cancellation.

There is no staff in the reception.

I tried to call them to discuss my ongoing issues and I wasn't able to reach them.

I don't recommend this place.

Good for a pop in. It has all the right equipment and there are flexible plans. Worst thing about this gym is the music they play. Rubbish dance stuff that is always too loud. I've ask they turn it down - because everyone, including me wears earbuds anyway, but they wont. It's extremely irritating when you want to zone into your own work out.

Correct gym but toilets are never really clean and TVs on bikes and elyptics don't work way too often (tried three again this morning before finding one that "works", and it stops constantly).
Updated on 14/07: TV now working, thank you, although now most YouTube videos impossible to view, message "this content cannot be displayed" on the screen.
Updated on 28/07: TV out of order again (elliptic bike), not all channels but most of them give a black screen, cannot even watch the AFL. Oh, and I still get "this content cannot be displayed" on all YouTube videos I tried. You got to question why having a screen at all on those bikes.
