The actual in store Zamels Staff themselves at FountainGate were fantastic and I cannot fault them.
Sadly the same cannot be said for Head Office. I purchased a Sterling Silver chain for my locket, and it broke within 3 weeks of purchase. After contacting Head Office through email and requesting a refund, all I have received is the run-around. Even tho it is clear the chain is not fit for purpose and I am well within my ACCC rights to request a refund after showing my bank receipt!

Bought a $1600 wedding ring and the more I wore it the more my finger got itchy, just very poor quality. I bought another one from Prouds and I never have to take it off.

Was told items were gold that were actually not gold. Be very careful as they used deception to get us to buy from them.

Bought a watch after few months battery died, we couldn't close the lid, took it the store and I have been waiting for 3 months so far!

I would’ve given 0 stars but unfortunately that is not an option. The customer service is so poor and the man there is so rude, unhelpful and uninterested, it seems as if he is forced to be there. Definitely would not recommend to anybody.

I just had the most awful experience. Purchased a G-Shock watch for my husband for Christmas. Love Gshock and unfortunately it was a faulty watch which I will say is unusual as we have not had problems with Casio before. I actually asked the manager for the non display watch (boxed) when I purchased it, he took it from under the counter and I was happy. Upon opening the button was permanently depressed. It popped out but would then stay stuck. I had the bag, the box, the receipt and went back today. The manager just looked at me and said”that is not how I sold it to you”. I was honestly confused as he then agreed to a refund but kept saying that he never sold it to me like that. I asked what he was implying and he just kept smirking at me and saying, “I’ll give you a refund but that’s not how I sold it”. I was just so upset, I’m honest to a fault, I didn’t do anything wrong and he made me feel like I was being mocked and that I was some sort of criminal, that I was being deceitful or that somehow I caused the issue. I’ve never felt so embarrassed and so misjudged. I actually started to tear up it was so very unpleasant. I’ll never ever go back to Zamels. He eventually apologised for upsetting me but it was awful as for some silly reason the injustice of it just upset me. For the record I’ve worked retail, I know customers can be pretty average humans but I am not that sort of person and to be made feel that way was just beyond my comprehension, especially given I was in the moral and legal right, the watch was quite simply faulty.

The lady who served me, Jenny, was great. She was genuinely interested in serving me, and catering for my needs.

The manager is useless. He is disingenuous and untrustworthy. Token sales person. Smug, thinks he’s amazing, and made an experience of buying an engagement ring for my partner, something that should be exciting, a poor and a bad time. If I could have gotten a refund and gone to an other store, just out of spite I would have.

I would like to share my disappointment in your Fountain Gate store. My two 21 year old sons attempted to purchase a gift for a girlfriend on the weekend and really felt unwanted in your store.
They were asked what the budget was what they were looking for then overheard a sales assistant say "watch these two". Not only are they great young men they wanted to buy a gift spend $$ in your store! I agree that some people are not genuine that we need to watch our customer's carefully.
The look of a person and the budget shouldn't matter so please treat everyone with respect.

Excellent service. Excellent Job done in the time stated and notifications via text were as promised. For preference, I will go here as opposed to Prouds or others in the Fountaingate complex.

My fiance bought my engagement ring here on the premise that it had a matching wedding band. A few months after he proposed we went into store to enquire about the wedder. Staff could not tell us for certain a price and said that it was a custom order. We went back almost half a dozen times over the next 6-8 months to enquire on the wedder (as we wanted to order it) and every time we were given different answers and prices. We finally spoke to management who advised that it was now no longer available to order whatsoever. Rather disappointed in the service overall, and we have now been left to buy a non-matching wedding band from a different jeweller.
