Zambrero Warrnambool

My first time in and I loved it, customer service was fantastic and the food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm up this way.

The new owner trying to make a big impression by firing dedicated senior staff while keeping the most incompetent manager to disgrace the title. Smart move.not. And on top of that the new owner is so gutless he can't even fire his staff face to face. They have to find out from other staff members.

I Came into zambreros for lunch, was greeted by the manager and was given filthy looks so I asked to be served by another worker, manager asked why and I said because I would like to bee served by someone else thankyou. The next worker put their gloves on and went to serve us. Manager came back out and said actually I've decided you can leave when we asked why she didn't explain just said I was rude even though all I asked was to be served by someone else and just wanted lunch. The manager was rude. I haven't had zambreros in a long time but getting kicked out for asking for another worker serve us was not a good enough excuse to be kicked out.

The girls were lovely! Even when faced with some difficult customers! They even came to us and asked if we were okay as we were eating. Thank you for being so kind

Ordered online through Zambrero website and 20 minutes after their app said food was ready they hadn’t even started preparing it. This is the third time we’ve ordered online from this branch and the order has been stuffed up.

Food was ok, you guy charge a lot for a burrito but put very little protein and rice, I’ve never eaten here before but unfortunately for these guys the Mexican place up the road is way better.

First time I have eaten Zambrero and I was pleasantly surprised. I usually find Mexican food boring, but the bowl was a delicious mix of meat, salad, beans and rice

Honestly doesn’t even deserve a one star rating.asked for beef and they gave me one teaspoon.asked for extra and she told me it’s an extra $4.what a joke.ate 3/4 of my burrito and still didn’t get any meat.and it costed me $16!

Maybe our local Zambrero is the exception but this one did not match up at all. Overcooked rice, small servings, average taste. Overall disappointing.

Unlike subway, when they offer extra food it’ll just keep increasing the price. I’m sure it’s not meant to be, but it comes across as deceptive. Food was nice.

Service was fast. The crew was kind and seems to have a good knowledge about the company’s product.

I have been to many Zambrero’s and have never had a bad experience. However, it was my first time at the Warrnambool branch. I felt sick from the extremely rude and disrespectful service. The staff member serving me laughed at me - she couldn’t ‘understand’ what I was saying and made fun of me, even-though i was speaking in English and have an Australian accent. After insulting me, the staff member kept on staring at me - up and down and giving me dirty looks (felt like she had never seen a person of colour before). I have never experienced such rude and disrespectful behaviour and it made me feel sooo uncomfortable. Management you should consider training your staff in the very basics or customer service 101.

The young fellow who served me was lovely, courteous and incredibly helpful when I ordered a gluten free tortilla. I was offered separate utensils to avoid gluten cross contamination which was great.

However, the food itself was not very fresh and the chicken tasted like curry which was extremely baffling given that this is a Mexican establishment.

Food was yummy albeit overpriced. Service was shocking. Made to order 2 items at once which was confusing and the girl serving me implied it was my fault that it was all getting confusing when I want to order bowl and burrito separately to start with! Service window was very dirty with food everywhere. I understand some times are busier than others but when there’s 4 staff members and 1 customer, take the time to clean up and serve people properly.

The food is really good and freash but seriously, charged extra for sour cream and cheese, Mexican food always has sour cream and cheese, ridiculous!

Had a very bad experience today going into Zambs. I love getting this food and I think it’s absolutely delicious however today when I came in to get some food the girl that served me was extremely rude, and her whole head was covered in dandruff I could see all of it on top of her hair whilst she was making my burrito. She wasn’t wearing a hair net, which in my opinion she should have been with the amount of dandruff that I seen in her hair. I literally felt so sick after walking out that I didn’t even eat the burrito I just threw it straight into the bin and wasted $10. Won’t be coming back for a while after my experience.

The girl that works there with the coloured hair gave the best customer service I’ve ever experienced 10/10 and she makes amazing burritos

Food was fantastic. The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was price. I got a bowl for $12.40 and a lot of ingredients was extra. All they have to do is show the price of what is extra so you know in advance how much your order will be.

Ordered 3 burritos and 1 nachos. We received a text message to say it would arrive in half an hour. After not hearing anything an hour later we called the store asking about the order. The employee said the order was prepared and ready to go but the driver had not arrived and they were not sure when the driver would arrive. They offered a free soft drink for the order being late. Unfortunately, the order arrived 30 minutes later (so an hour and a half after we had originally ordered). When we received the food it was stone cold. It had obviously been sitting there ready in the store for about an hour before we received it. The burritos were also super soggy and I couldn’t eat mine. We called the store to let them know that the food was cold when it arrived and they apologised.

Amazing to see mexican in Warrnambool, what is even more funny is seeing 2 of them. Well, this one was the one to be at. The food and staff were great. Clean - plenty of options and happy to mix them into your meal of choice.

The drink selection was excellent and the toilet facilities were clean.

Very happy we choose here for dinner. We will return next time we are in town.
